I've had three (yes 3) LG TV's go belly up on me in the past 2 years. A 55", a 40" and a small 22-24" None of them were more than 2 years old. Obviously, never buying an LG TV (or anything LG) ever again.

Yet another reason i pay very little attention to them . . . And some pinhead from SI put the Bills at 18??? Why am i torturing myself with this? As someone said in another thread, the NFL has their own Power Rankings. They're called standings. Moving on . . .

I spent a month in Escanaba one week. Funny story. I flew into Green Bay and then drove up. I passed quite a few places offering "pasties" which to my knowledge are small disks used to cover nipples. I'm thinking - what the hell is going on up here that i've driven past a dozen places selling nipple covers???!!! Turns out they are pronounced past-eez, and they are small pies filled with meat and parsnips (google says rutabaga) that must be eaten with loads of ketchup. I was underwhelmed by them. They come in a half-moon shape, and the reason is so they would fit comfortably in the arm pit of miners to keep warm 'til lunch. That could only enhance the flavor of the pasties . . .

A) the number of commercial breaks/length of game. everything is a reason for a TV timeout it's annoying. B) Officiating is atrocious, and blatantly biased towards bigger markets/better draws. I've said for years that the WWE has better officiating than does the NFL.

Same here, and yet I'm astonished at the number of former class mates who turned out to be gay. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I mean a few were/are obvious, but there are quite a few headscratchers - going both ways (if you know what i mean). I think i took 3 showers the entire 4 years of HS. A lot of my friends went to Cheektowaga HS (78-82) and they had to swim naked and to a man, they ALL hated it.
