  1. Albert isn't coming to the Bills but he did grow up in Rochester.
  2. He coached Anquan Boldin, who is a fa.
  3. Henderson had previous connections to Marrone, not Pettine. He coached for Marrone at SU.
  4. The Bills certainly could do worse. If he is good enough for LaBeau's staff he is worth a look in Buffalo.
  5. Not upset he went to KC but it shows that Nix is going to be pretty active in FA. Hopefully he can land a couple.
  6. Lots of good cb's out there and now one less team in need of one. No need for Buddy to feel bad about losing Routt. Move on to plan B, who may end up being a better player.
  7. I'd love to bring him in but if he is asking for a new contract the Bills would have to work out an extension in advance. Hopefully he could be reasonable with the negotiations. I don't know how excited he would be about going from a SB champion to the Bills, but he could add a lot to this defense.
  8. The speed wr's Fairchild had with the Rams fit a dome team perfectly. Playing outdoors changes the offense a little. A big possession receiver to move the chains and go over the middle would help open up the deep ball but that is pretty far down on my wish list. We have other holes to address first.
  9. Fletcher was a great leader and an extremely durible player but I want an attacking MLB for this defense. London, thanks for your time in Buffalo but it is time to move in a new direction. I hope you have great success somewhere in the NFC and retire a wealthy, and heathy man.
  10. I agree, Rockpile. Monk has waited his time and Reed will have to wait a bit as well. The #'s are certainly there for Andre. His time will come. This way we'll get to watch Bills being inducted into the HOF for the next 2 ceremonies. They certainly won't live up to Jim Kelly's induction but it wil be a proud day for Bills fans. Bruce should be coming up soon as well.
  11. I'm very curious what Willis' asking price is going to be. I'm sure it will be something absurd like what Edgerrin James got but I feel Willis is more comparable to Ahman Green, who is a free agent this year. Wait and see what Green receives and offer an identical deal---take it or leave it.
  12. Hargrove should provide some depth at DE and was valuable as a pass rushing DT this year but if Kelsey is not brought back I'd like to add another quality pass rusher. We avoided injuries at DE this year but if Schobel went down we might have the worst pass rush in the entire league. This defense depends on the d-line getting pressure on the qb and does not blitz LB's as often as I would like. Maybe that will change next year with the addition of a new LB but this draft is deep at DE and I wouldn't be upset to see a new stud pass rusher in camp next year.
  13. Ordinarily I'm a big fan of trading down but this year might be the exception. I want a real star in the 1st round and I don't want to risk losing our man for an additional 3rd round draft pick. Certainly an extra pick would be wonderful but we are already an extremely young team with a number of rookies starting. Too much inexperience could end up hurting this squad. Marv showed in last year's draft that if he has a man targeted he isn't going to risk losing him for an extra draft pick. What we need now is to improve our overall talent and add veteran leadership. If the Bills are to make the next step into the playoffs we need more players that have been there in the past and know what it takes to win. We certainly have the cap space to add these veterans.
