  1. Past doesn't mean sh-- for an NFL RB. Henry has all the trappings of a 4 year max back in his fifth year.
  2. What if they think 5th pick(or whatever) in second round is a better option?
  3. PP was coming off an historically great year for a Bills' 2nd receiver; Travis is coming off nothing, with an attitude problem to boot.
  4. I agree nearly 100 % with you on this. I think that Henry's agent is likely to come back empty-handed. If someone offers a 3rd, it would normally indicate under-valuing TH. However, due to his productivity drop-off in '04 and apparent injury proneness, TD might take it. If offered less, Henry and agent will need to find a new plan, IMO.
  5. Forget arguing with people who don't accept the intuitively obvious. You're wasting your time. Just put them into the blockhead category like I do. This board is filled so-called 'experts' who proclaim things like that going for the field goal at the 11 was the proper move when a few days later the HC admits it was a bad move in the context of the game. I'll probably be migrating to BB.com due to large number of delusionists resident on this board.
  6. If you take how Drew played in game one and measured against game 16, there was no improvement. TD is FOS, as usual.
  7. Leading by 6 going for FG is a no-brainer; leading by 1, it's ballsless bull sh--.
  8. I agree, but I were pulling the strings, I'd make an exception in this case. His pedigree suggests that he would light up the scoreboard in Europe. Like to see some early proof of his worth. And pull him after a few weeks play, if that is legal.
  9. Yes, especially with your 'the trade was right at the time' horse boloney (paraphrase from previous posts). I'll give you the point where he might have helped attract some decent free agents. Other than that, he's a big, expensive delay of the inevitable...he plays just good enough to keep a qb with a future out of the starting lineup.
  10. Because I'd like to have him get his feet wet and gage his durability. I think he could use the work and training.
  11. Drew finished 25th in the overalls and an even worse 27th in y/pa of 6.51. Take Evans away and DB would have been 'fired' half way through the season.
  12. No. Hell, no. No f-ing way! Maybe 5 or 6 years ago, but Drew's done as far as a top QB. Least bit of pressure in a meaningful game and his game collapses. Bad thing is he drags the entire offense with him into his black hole of failure.
  13. Give me an effing brake! The same coaching staff made the exact opposite decision in the home Jets game. 4 and 1 at the 11; went for it; MaGahee TD.
  14. I am not in the forgiving mood. I look at the last game as a broken promise to fans, given the previous 6 weeks. It was a team effort in non-performance and it will leave a bad taste in my mouth until training camp at the very least. Congratulations for not showing up for the most important game of the season. I think not.
  15. 'Practice? We-Don't-Need-No-Stinking-Practice-Against-2Nd Stringers-Heads-Up-Our Asscoe".
  16. Name the last good team Bledsoe beat that had anything to do with his exceptional play. This should a final Jeopardy question.
  17. The key to Drew's future depends on Ralph's reaction. If he jumps off the Bledsoe bandwagon, Drew's goose is cooked.
  18. Blame the coaches. That gameplan was devised for the Bay City Rollers and no one noticed. You could take MM, the OC, and DC out today and shoot them. Wouldn't bother me any.
  19. Not sure of my dates but we could have picked Brees. I would have taken him, for example.
  20. Appreciate the attempt to find positives. Let me just say that Drew has set a very low bar for next season and if JP cannot rise above it in preseason, I will be very, very dissappointed.
  21. I can put it in very simple terms for TD: If Bledsoe's there, I'm not. A rookie would have been better. We could have picked 3 of them by now, if we had to. The perception was that Bledsoe was a playoff caliber QB. The perception was wrong. I don't buy the DB trade saved the franchise argument at all.
  22. Today may very well mark the death of the circle quote.
