  1. at least not capable of replacing Willis's production, I hope the Bills de-emphasize the running game somewhat instead of focusing on it. I don't want them to overdo it with McGahee, leading to a serious injury due to overwork. I'm prepared to take a few extra loses to develop a balanced attack.
  2. Looks like they put it together for this weekend. A tremendous job of bending images. A++++
  3. I detected a bad attitude from Travis starting in the '04 open practice after the draft and it didn't get any better as the season played out. The NFL is all about what you what have done for me lately and TH finished his Bills career as an ass. Spare me the sentimentality.
  4. I expected the article to report that the woman knew something was wrong when he spelled 'his' name wrong in the signing. But then again, correct spelling probably wasn't necessary to pull off this caper.
  5. So he threw it in his general direction so he could lunge for it. Stretching exercises during the game to get EM back in shape. Makes perfect sense now.
  6. Bottom line: even if the Bills do finish as badly as the nay-sayers predict, the Bills will be better off than with another 9 - 7 with a used-up warhorse at QB. I'm prepared to accept what we get with the new guy. Anything beyond 7 - 9 THIS season I will consider gravy.
  7. If I were you and I had any savings, I'd be out of there yesterday. They aren't idiots, they're complete losers.
  8. I'm really unhappy a bear missed a potentially tasty meal. I believe fatheads are a delicacy.
  9. Exactly. Sometime this season I expect EM to publicly announce what a pleasure it is to hookup with a QB that not only calls his number but can actually hit him with a skillfully thrown pass.
  10. In his last 6 or seven games, I don't remember Bledsoe hitting Moulds with a pass longer than 20 yards. Maybe it was the dumbed down offense, but I remember DB's first training camp where he was super accurate. Exiting the Bills, he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. Other than watching the Bills win, watching Bledsoe suck it up bigtime in Big D will be my greatest pleasure following the NFL this fall.
  11. The way I see it is this worst case: one inefficient QB with no upside is replaced by another inefficient QB with a big upside. This the view that prevailed with the Bills brass. I doubt that it means that the Bills win total will be cut in half. Unstated assumption of the pundits: the Bills were getting good production from DB...Wrong!!
  12. Like all these pundits watched every Bills game in '04 because the Bills were nationally broadcast all the time. Most of them saw the weekly highlight reel, if that. Believe me, the average BB fan knows more about Bledsoe's problems at QB than 90% of the pundits.
  13. And you have a sense-of-humor quotient of dead flat zero, so this couldn't be you.
  14. His conclusion, indeed, bears no resemblance to his analysis. Many on this board agree with the assertion that an inept Losman = a 'polished' late-in-career Bledsoe. The dropoff, if any, will be a lot less than 5 games. In essence, his conclusion is idiotic.
  15. Unless he grows a 2nd and 3rd head. The rest of the country will say 'What has happened to Drew?' Bills fans will already know.
  16. I'm just happy that he's in Buffalo for the off-season instead off counting the trout in a Montana stream or watching the waves in Malibu.
  17. Bledsoe exhibited his lack of leadership once and for all in that game. Then 3 or 4 days later he has the gall to claim the Bills are still 'his'. That's the remark that got him fired for certain.
  18. The first two prequels were not worth the film on which they were printed. Most of the critics agree that ROTS (ironically) restores the franchise.
  19. As long as Drew can play in non-stress situations he can look like a world beater. Throw in a little tension and he comes apart like a cheap suit. Chances of Drew leading Dallas to glory are zero and none.
  20. Drew's skills have been eroding for years. He will reach rock bottom in '05 and so will the 'Boys.
  21. Yeah, yeah...I had it right the first time.
  22. Henry's a malcontent and a stupid one, at that. His 'holdout' may qualify as the most stupid contract move ever by an NFL player. I'm not for giving him his release. Let him rot in Orlando. Better yet, fine him the maximum for every day out so when he does come crawling back he works for nothing. He wouldn't be a cancer in the locker room because he'd dress in a separate room if I were coach.
  23. Posters who choose the negative view before a fair evalution of the NEW edition of the team has occurred on the field are fairly 'arrogant' by definition, in my book.
