  1. I concur. Drew's apparent motivation for last two years seemed to be to keep the paychecks rolling in to support his luxuries like the Whitefish, MT palace.
  2. Attach sirens and flashing lights to his uni.
  3. Bonfire at Bills Pep rally in Pittsford.
  4. Find a new buddy.
  5. If JP hadn't been injured, he could have been wearing his helmet backwards in the first 4 games and done as well as Bledsoe. If the Bills go 2 - 2 in the first 4 games this year we will do no worse than last year's record and perhaps be ahead in the game.
  6. If they actually had cast it that way, I'd have paid to watch the POS. Striesand singing 'The Way We Were' in a fake southern accent. Would have been a hoot.
  7. Sept. 12, 2004 Jax @ Buffalo 4th quarter 12:06 left 1 -3 Jac 3 T. Henry up the middle for 1 2 -2 Jac 2 (11:29) Henry right guard for 1 3 - 1 Jac 1 (10:47) D. Bledsoe sacked @ Jac 7 for -6 Bills settle for FG. Epitomizes everything wrong with those two.
  8. Going to my seventh consecutive Bills camp next weekend. Bringing a brand new digital camera. I'll try posting some photos after. I'm interested in seeing a lot of things, especially performance at QB and RB positions. Last year Drew and Travis looked very ordinary. I'm hoping to see the opposite with JP and McGahee this year. If you can't shine in camp, how can you in the regular season? The writing was on the wall in camp last year for DB and TH but nobody recognized it at the time, IMO.
  9. We know what the 'A' should stand for. I'd have to be tied down and gagged to watch this travesty of a sports show.
  10. The key to his success will be how quickly he learns to read defenses or not. That's what separates NFL quarterback wheat from the chaff. Most never master the science no matter what their skill level, DB being a case in point. His dedication seems very good at present. Bills fans hope he will sustain it. P.S Read defenses in 4 seconds or less, not the next day as was Drew's case.
  11. '....and let him walk' (to the nearest schoolyard). Sorry. I believe that after the incident with the 15 year old, TD's running back mission was to replace TH. Mission accomplished!
  12. You're probably right, but I doubt that the Bills brass would happy about it. If JP gets 25/game, which is highly possible, that would do the trick.
  13. Great character from a great show. Another mini-icon passes.
  14. Tennessee's risk is the expenditure of 3 round draft pick. Henry's risk is might be throwing away his career. If he truly knew himself, he would accept a secondary role with Bills and most likely 3 or 4 more seasons of spot duty. Does anyone remember TH was only a backup at Tennessee? His battering ram style delivered a couple of good years, but he's too small to productively sustain that in the NFL. Part and parcel with stupidity, IMO, in that he believes he can be successful in the long run with that lone talent.
  15. As you may have noticed, I have a very low opinion of TH. If he doesn't average above 3.5 yards/carry this season, he'll be playing in Canada next year. To not get a bonus indicates his 'contract extention' is being treated as a conditional smokescreen by the Titans to make Travis feel good. Appears to be nothing there but fluff.
  16. The skeletons in his closet are open for all to see. He performed like crap in '04, he became a malcontent, is a one dimensional back, has become injury prone, has a reputation for fumbling, and is as dumb as as rock. Other than that, he's a great addition.
  17. How about a crybaby, a moron, and a quiter. Fine distinction between that and a cancer in my mind.
  18. The Bills did a great job in shipping Henry south. Your theory is that Henry's ego is so fragile that he couldn't muster a challenge to WM. Mine is that he has suffered a precipitous loss of ability. In either case, the Bills win by trading this 24 carat fool for something of value.
  19. Yeah, I'm used to reading something called sentences.
  20. Parting with him to go where? Oh, partying with. A little correct spelling could help.
  21. If Travis had continued with the Bills, even if he had showed some desire to contribute on the field, I believe he was in jeopardy of being cut by the Bills. He showed nothing in training camp, nothing in pre-season, nothing in the regular season. I believe the reason is he has or had nothing left in the tank. Now, because he essentially did nothing all last year, there might be some temporary resurgence in his game. But I think he's done for in the long run. He didn't have a step to lose. He's lost it and therefore any chance to be an effective back in the NFL. Watch the Titans this season. We'll see who is right.
  22. He wasn't treated any differently from anyone else who loses a starting job. In fact, Malarkey, bent over backwards to give Henry a chance to save his job and TH blew it. Who's the better back? You can't be serious.
  23. What is sacrosanct about a starting job in the NFL?? Henry deserveably lost his job because his 'backup' consistently out-performed him from May to January. The guy was a cancer by acting like a two year old when a parent takes an ice cream cone away. I think an NFL team should consist of ADULTS only. Good luck, Tennessee, in keeping your new found man-child happy.
  24. Brown will have no problem if he can stay healthy and remember more than 5 plays. There isn't a single word in the Henry statement that rings true. Once Donohoe got a firm line on Henry's personality, the Bills braintrust initiated a RB upgrade plan. Henry's reaction was childish in the extreme; for that, I pity him.
