  1. Higher is better. 12 row is about ideal. How do you get your hands on either ticket(s)?
  2. Note to TD: No FSU kicker, ever! Meant as a general reply.
  3. Weakness at QB is very kind. Perry performed like he had cinderblocks tied to his feet. SU's QB of the future is probably starting 10th grade.
  4. Wonder if they get per diem for food and lodging?
  5. About on par with JO 'reporter' who asked the former Presidents to comment about the 'rumour' that the levees were intentionally breached. Same old sh-- about Bush being a dumbass. I guess it was a conspiracy that George got better marks at Princeton than Kerry. Lefties don't let facts get in the way of a good story.
  6. If Willis gets 7 yards on the first play...gameover. Don't see it happening, though. I see run left ( to fool the Texans ) and a gain of 1 yard. BTW, my idea of a great play is running a dive between the tackles and pitching back to the QB for a pass play. Early season, I'd run that play til the cows come home.
  7. I'm not saying JP couldn't pull off running a jazzed up playbook. My fear is that it will be intentially simplified (overdoing it) for the first few weeks, forcing him into a straightjacket. I disagree with the idea that the wraps are coming off out of the gate.
  8. I think that when they take the plain vanilla wrapper off the offensive playbook, we will see what? More vanilla. Unless you mean calling two dopey wr around plays instead of one per game smacks of originality? What this team needs are mis-direction plays and play action passes 2/3 of the time. Clements has a lot to prove to me as a playcaller before I would label him 'innovative'. Right now, I'd call him 'pedestrian'.
  9. The key to the success of this Bills' season will be the ability of Losman to recognize blitz defenses and choose the right antidotal options. The coaching staff cannot help him with this, he has to learn it on his own. McGahee will not be successful with 8 in the box against him; the defenders must be moved out of position by a QB who can read and react. That is precisely what DB COULD NOT do. The Bills record will depend on how soon it all begins to 'click' upstairs with JP. From what I've seen up to now, that process could take all season. I don't expect a good record for the Bills until JP experiences his epiphany.
  10. "One half! That's all you get, JP" says MM. "Better not screw it up" Give me an fn break.
  11. If you find some bad guys, could you shoot them while they try to escape? A couple, three times? Good hunting!
  12. Yeah, like when they stop driving 85 mph down the Northway and Thruway. This me,me,me generation doesn't give a sh-- about anything other than self-gratification.
  13. Well, doctor, you and I just posted the same thought.
  14. The answer to this question is determined by whether or not you believe in learning curves. JP is just now at the bottom of the curve. POTENTIAL indicates he will not stay at the bottom. The unknowable is the steepness of the curve representing JP's progress. The journey from kid QB to polished veteran does not go through the bench. Therefore, I predict JP will not be pulled under any circumstances other than a complete blowout or injury, for the entire season. In other words, in the NFL, long-term gain should more important than short-sightedness, but it doesn't always work out that way there or in the business world in general.
  15. They're too fricking cheap to buy the extra cameras and other hardware. I think I'll bombard them 3 times a week over their penny pinching. 2nd class treatment for what they must think are 2nd class fans. Arrogant a-holes.
  16. The posters who say national respect for the Bills is not an issue are 100% wrong. No respect = no HD broadcasts and scum-of-the-Earth booth announcers among other things.
  17. Mike tells the world that the Bills are going to work on the power running game and he thinks the Chicago coaches aren't listening. Did it take a preseason game to prove we can't run against a stacked defense? Better to announce our intentions to work on the long passing game and do the opposite. And where did the idiotic first and goal at the 3 call come from if it was the power game we were concerned about? In my mind, JP did pretty darn good in the face of moronic coaching decisions.
  18. Got a stat for games blown by crucial fumbles and inopportune interceptions? Didn't think so.
  19. Ruben was in a tough spot. He hated his boss, his bosse's boss, and his bosse's bosse's boss; most likely justified in the assessment that they were all incompetents. If he could have waited a few more weeks, he might still be a Bill.
  20. Yeah, aren't those dues a B word?
  21. Being a long term listener to M & M, it's entirely possible that Golic has completely forgotten what he 'read' two days before. He has consistently been a DB supporter without the benefit of watching more than one or two Bills games in the last two years.
  22. -pate? Hands down Parrish. If he doesn't catch a bunch of passes, it won't be because he's unable to shake the coverage. I think that his return will herald the start of a devastating passing attack.
  23. This guy would have been more durable if he had been made out of cardboard. Gotta like Dungy's description.
  24. I would have said that at the beginning of camp, but I believe in our RB depth now. My new pick would be Evans.
  25. It was the same 3 weeks ago, but it's interesting to see how the smart money thinks. I hope to make some money on the Bills against the Jets and especially NE this season. Unless JPL lights up the league early.
