I boated. I hiked. I golfed. I saw just enough of the game to lose my appetite.
This was one of the games we would have looked better with a forfeit. Actually, the game was played like a forfeit by other means.
I'm not saying he's going to avoid every punishing hit but there will be times when 2 backers will have lined him up for a hammering, he scoots past, and the backers kill each other instead. He's that quick.
They absurdly did things like not even cover games like the Detroit pre-season which started at 7 PM because the Yanks pre-game came on at 9:30. They couldn't broadcast at least the first half? Just another reason for me to hate the Yankees.
Here's another interesting stat: SD did not have a 4 sack game in '04 ( and only 29 total ) but they got one the very first game of '05. If this is a predicter of things to come, Washington should sack DB 6 to 7 times. We shall see. And SD didn't blitz much? I wish we played Dallas this year. We'd have a chance for a 10 sack game.
What did he have against the Jets in his first game for us? a 120 or so. His occasional great games mean nothing in the long run. I'll bet his rating against the 'skins will be about 72.5.
Schoop could poison anyone's mind. Plus he (Schoop) suffers from the added disadvantage of having the look of indeterminate sex. He looks like woman who has undergone a sex change to me. This woose POS seemingly tries to make up for his lack of manliness with his arrogant know-it-all-act. From my POV.
I don't think it was Peter King, it was reputed to be Dr. Z with the statement about Losman.
I've read the SI article. It wasn't Dr. Z either. It was in a statement made by an unnamed opposing coach who said that the reports out of Tulane claimed Losman was too cocky and not well liked. So this has grown to a rumor on top of a rumor from unattributed sources concerning a state of affairs that MAY have existed two years ago when JP was still in college.
Got to give BK credit for searching for and finding one the most horrendously bad pass plays in the annals of not just Bills history, but the entire NFL.
Refs woke up in second half after Raiders had two consecutive good runs. After that it was one whistle after another against Oakland..flagged for all the things NE was getting away with.
Ten years from now we'll find out the officials were put up in the best Boston cathouse after each game, courtesy of the Pats.
