  1. Waste of time will be an understatement if someone else is going to have veto power over his choice of coaches. His leash will be about 2 inches long. He will be second-guessed on every decision, every play that doesn't work. The players will know if he sneezes wrong he's gone. He would to have be beyond desperate for his job to stay under such conditions. If he starts 3 -5 he's probably gone anyway. Lotsa luck, Mike, you'll need a boatload of it to succeed and save your job.
  2. Hope you're not just making this up.
  3. Someone explain why Mularkey is still around then? Does he tell exceptionally funny dirty jokes or something? I see no visible assets that he brings to the table nor purpose in retaining him.
  4. If Ralph is for getting rid of the OC and DC he is more on the ball than I've given him credit for. Come on Ralph...make it a clean sweep.
  5. Like the wall the Jets threw up last Sunday?
  6. How about when he chose RJ over Flutie? His opening move was wrong and he only got a few moves right subsequently...not enough to keep his job by a long shot.
  7. Mussburger. CBS was justified in firing him all those years ago.
  8. My view is if Marv comes on it would as a 6- 12 month stint as interim GM to help Ralph select TD's successor. Then he gets an emeritus position for life with the Bills.
  9. No, Donahoe will go, that's pretty much a given. I fear for another wasted year granted to a HC who has been documented to have no clue as to how to run a NFL team. Special teams, a weak schedule and a veteran QB (as much as I hate to admit it) bailed him out his rookie season. Ralph needs to swallow hard and gulp down the 3 million.
  10. I'm not sure I want anyone TD hired to continue in the organization. The Dwight Adams firing was one first indications that the Bills' GM was going haywire.
  11. Extra crispy or regular??
  12. Ever listen to his commentary? Not only can he not complete a thought, he can't complete a sentence. Makes no sense whatsoever.
  13. Ralph: What about a roadmap for the redzone? 'Gomer' Mularkey: Golly gee, Mr Wilson, where is this redzone? Can I drive my jeep to it?
  14. We start in the basement if you factor in coaching prowess.
  15. Classic Drew tonight. Cowgirls might have less to look forward to than the Bills' fans.
  16. Should be 98% to 2 that Donahoe is fired. When Ralph said that he was going to get with Mike to see what his needs are and FAILED TO EVEN MENTION TOM IN PASSING, I think it's pretty clear who takes the fall for the mess known as the Buffalo Bills, 2005 edition.
  17. Great! The guy that won the village idiot contest of greater Pittsburgh remains 'coach' of the Bills. Bills are going to be easy to ignore in '06'.
  18. Makes a lot of sense: 1 decent win wipes out 6 miserable losses....not for me.
  19. If the turd tandem team of Mike and Tom are back, it looks like an '84 - '86 hibernation time for me. I refuse to watch a professional sport team where I know I could do a better job on the decision making aspect than the so-called management.
  20. In case anyone wants to know, actuary tables predict that on Ralph's 87th birthday he had a 4.56 yr life expectancy. He has a nearly 15% chance of dying this year and the percentage goes up each subsequent year. The time of reckoning is close at hand.
  21. Right. Show that you're an utter failure as a HC and you will be run off in two years anywhere. Someone who is self-confident and can prove that he can actually coach is not worried about ownership. Do a good job and become a hot commodity and you don't worry about having a job. It's the bottom feeders, the lowest 25%, that have to worry. Sports franchises are among the most efficient business entities in getting rid of losers. If you don't measure up, you don't last in the NFL.
  22. Wow, this is really difficult stuff. Chris, how about getting your head out of Tom's ass? Instead being an extention of his alimentary canal, why don't you examine the record? TD's grand winning percentage for five years is .382 and going lower. Tom's replacement is in two parts. Put a business man in charge of the non-player personnel. Hire a coach that actually showed promise as a coordinator or spend some money and get a veteran. Won't be able to get a another quality GM? Who cares? We need a coach who can coach and has the requisite authority, not just occupy an office.
  23. From the sub-basement to Hell?
  24. The bottom feeders: SF = 64 (worst possible score) Houston = 62 Bills = 59 Mind you the mean is 32 Jets = 51 Miami = 36 NE = 33 with a bullet Pretty fair predicter of standings Leaves out ST, which make some difference in Bills case
  25. Find that person and he'd be the head coach somewhere in 2 years. In the Bills scenario, Ralph might ask what we have MM around for when the OC is doing the real work. It is in MM's interest to keep a schmuck in the position.
