After recovering opening kickoff fumble on the Pat's 17, pass to Evans, TD.

This a classic setting for an upset. The national media, the Pats' fans, the oddsmakers and even a large percentage Bills' fans have all conceded a Patriot victory long before the game is played because everyone has decided on the basis of last year's record. First games of the season are precisely where over-confidant teams lose most often. The only things going for the Pats are BB and I hate to admit it, Brady. I hope it's not enough.

Why not assign someone to go after Brady on every play with the idea of obliterating him. One good hit early and it's a different game. In that regard, Brady reminds me of Marino; he could dish it out but he couldn't take it.

I'm going to either watch the game from a bar in Old Forge or (believe it or not) from the top of Bald mountain outside of the Forge with my portable TV and a handful of batteries. Picks up CBS 5 pretty good from there. Yes, I'm a crazy Bills fan!!

Why would you start someone listed 3rd on the depth chart when #2 is healthy??? Actually, as we all know, 3rd is higher than his actual talent at SS.

Here's how much I like the Jets. I think that they should be disbanded and the players split between the other 31 teams. Then NY CBS affiliates would be relieved of showing a crap team which no one out of NYC metro area cares about.

That's what I expected. The Bills will have to prove they are significantly better than the gangreen before 6 favors them over the dogazzes. It would take 2 wins in first two games this season, for instance. Have not looked to see Jets' schedule for week 2.

Off of TV Guide .com I cross referenced channel 6's homepage to the Guide and both showed TBA. Not surprised the page's aren't updated expediently, but I have been waiting for the local CBS affiliate to say something about opening day for weeks. Maybe the frigging horses are more important. Not to me.

What is the delay? CBS can offer only two games: Jets @ Tenn or Bills @ NE. They still haven't decided what game to offer in NY? I see the Syracuse offering is also TBA. What gives?

I'd like this to be a game where most everything we showed in pre-season turns out to be an illusion. Things like showing cover 2 that transmogrifies into man. Things like 8 different defensive looks never shown in pre. I don't know if our staff is that smart, but for this first game I would love to render BB's film library useless.

Then we're going to be run first? And when PP comes in it's a pass? The playbook better be more sophisticated than that. We don't need any blatant tipoff formations ala MM style.

I don't think that it's the end of the world. PP had been there for awhile, if I'm not mistaken. Thought that PP had done enough to solidify #2, though. Don't have a problem with some sort of alternation plan.
