  1. Like suffering Indy fans haven't seen their heroes about 10 - 12 times a season around here. Now, at least we know who to blame. Hope the game is so freaking bad the network pulls the plug at halftime.
  2. Yeah, but would he need a different number?
  3. Peters, Walker, Dockery on the left side. Any takers? ( I know Dockery's a guard ). Or is this an illegal formation?
  4. New day dawning. This year a loss followed by a bigger loss.
  5. I'm glad we started on Tuesday, then. I'll be checking the status twice a day through Friday. If it gets changed, a big salute to the brother- and sisterhood of Bills fans of TBD.
  6. What's the 6666 number?
  7. My feeling is something or someone must have changed in management at CBS-6. I'm sure they were more forceful in rejecting the network's planned distribution a few years ago. Lately, they have seemed more than willing to go along with the program. Peyton looked bad and Minnesota hopeless and CBS views this as their 'big' early game? I severely question their judgement if they think that there is any viewer interest outside of the 2 home states, especially regarding the Vikings.
  8. Yeah, for 3 #1's
  9. I hope the Bills kick the living crap out them. In Foxboro. Then he has to file a story describing the carnage he just witnessed. And then suffers from writers' block for the rest of the season.
  10. Station can petition and get it changed, can they not? Who needs to watch more pained expressions from Peyton? Didn't we see enough to last a season on Sunday night? Earth to NYC. You didn't watch the Bills - Seahawks game, apparently, most assuredly. Worse, the clown in charge probably doesn't realize the large number of bills' fans in the Albany market
  11. I figure one of those guys is an Indy fan. Trying to slip one past us. Let them know Bills' fans are the passionate ones of the Capital District (outside of the Giants).
  12. Most idiotic player's decision of the century, IMO.
  13. Voicemail with office hours. 50 people call and we'll change this.
  14. I very calmly said that the Bills - Jags was a 1000 times more interesting. Plus, who is going to call in support of their selection? One or two, max.
  15. To bump myself. I left a message on their phone mail expressing my displeasure. Tel # 518-381-4900.
  16. Showing Indy vs. Minnesota 1 PM Sunday? What programming schmuck thinks anyone in the CD cares about that game?
  17. Basically, the oddsmakers are on mindless autopilot for the first 3 weeks because the betters are also. Bills go 3 - 0, things will change quickly.
  18. So whoever said that he wouldn't miss his $219,000 paycheck was absolutely right. Now the Bills know how serious he was about his holdout principle. Not THAT much.
  19. I have been checking all week using tvguide.com waiting to see the Fox listing. Finally went to fox23.com and looked it up. Thought they were going with some crap game but we're ok ( unless they change at last minute).
  20. He wouldn't have to demand, he'd get one by asking politely.
  21. Peters has chosen money over team in the most craven manner possible. I don't want him on the team anymore. Period.
  22. One self-inflicted by the biggest stooge on the team. By the way, why should the Bills think Peters signature on the bottom line means anything? He's proving it's worthless.
  23. Is he really is as dumb as this holdout indicates? He reports in week 10 and the Bills suspend him for 4 weeks for action deemed contrary to team unity and he gets NO credit for this year at all. Seems to me this would mean a player should report by game 6. If he misses first game of season there can only be these outcomes. 1) Bills cave in. 2)Peters reports with tail between legs (early cave). 3)Peters will miss games until the Bills trade him. 4)Bills invoke the 'let him rot in hell mode'. 5) Peters ultimately reports (late cave). 6) Peter's quits football. I don't think #s 1 or 3 will happen, so Peters make your choice of bad outcomes. There is a 7th option. Peters fires Parker somewhere along the line and sort of apologizes. #2 is 7 without the firing. Don't think a there's a chance it will happened as he seems perfectly brainwashed.
  24. A war of silence makes so much more sense, Parker alter-ego.
  25. Last game I attended was in Dec. '06. Most of the cupholders were gone then. Looked like the seatbacks had been modified by sledgehammers.
