What really needs to happen is having his ass kicked out of the NFL once and for all. Thanks, Marv, for saddling us with this perennial loser.

I base my evaluation on his body of work as a NFL coach, which is mediocre at best. I will stand corrected, if he does something positive with the '09 edition of the Bills offense.

One of his greatest sins is a complete lack of imagination, unless you call plays that no other coach in his right mind would entertain, imaginative. Of course , he also searched far and wide to find a OC as creative as himself ( a separate problem ).

As nearly all others automatically undervalue the Bills.

I'm sure of it. This might be the first team to take the personality of it's prima donna WR, there's such a vacuum of leadership.

The guy's a superstar at his position, arguably the 2nd best player the Bill's have ever had, and you're complaining about making him welcome? The city is desperate but I don't know about pathetic if TO delivers on the field. He can wind up being the default HC for all I care. I'm certain he knows more about a passing attack than DJ.

The guy is a publicity hound....feed him all he can take. He will be the biggest fish in WNY as long as he stays. Maybe he'll love it and behave.

What they would not see coming would be a properly executed no-huddle. DJ has the wrong personality to be a head coach. He can not be an accomodating Pollyanna all the time, which he is. 'Til the Bills flush him, we're essentially going nowhere regardless of team talent.

I'd feel a whole lot better with a different HC, OC, and DC. I just don't think the team will be able to overcome those millstones around their collective necks. My only hope for '09 is the no huddle and Trent learns to call a better game than Turk/DJ combined. If not, the termination of DJ before '10 is the silver lining.

My question is if you tasered his rear end would he yelp? Would he even notice?

I agree. Incomplete is about as big a copout as can be claimed. Why bother to write a column on the subject if your major point is no one knows?
