  1. No it's funded by the sweat of underaged children.
  2. I was a big proponent of not drafting the kid due to his immaturity and lack of discipline off the field. I have to say though that after that incident with his father I haven't heard anything negative about him off the field or in practice. A lot of people believe that you can't judge a WR fully until their third year. What's making people upset about him is he's behind Steve Johnson right now as far as being a polished receiver and Johnson was a late round pick. I only think he was set up to fail by the fans. I say, like you do, to give him time to grow. Yeah, it is sad but as mentioned above he came into the league with people knowing he needed some work. It also doesn't help that in fewer games Steve Johnson has more catches, more yards and the same number of TD's. Before the draft nobody knew Johnson was going to be this good this soon or he would've been drafted much higher. Johnson is a 1 in a 1000 find. Once Hardy gets going having Evans, Johnson who's 6'2" and Hardy who's 6'6" will give the Bills good size, great speed and a real problem for opposing teams to cover.
  3. I guess you've never read his posts in other threads, not just this one. What difference does it make who brought them up? Your arguments about them are still weak. Sigh, the overall talent on the Lions wasn't even within a mile of the overall talent of the Dolphins. Sanders was the only player anyone had to worry about on that team. Despite the fact that other teams constantly stacked the box against him he still managed to carry that team. Your argument that Marino's Dolphins went 11 straight years is due to a strong defense, good coaching and good receivers. If they had Thurman Thomas, Emmitt Smith or Barry Sanders they would have been the team going to four consecutive Super Bowls. When a team has a lead in the fourth quarter a great RB helps that team chew up the clock and keep the ball out of the other teams hands. Even more is that it helps the team control the clock all game long.
  4. I don't gamble either but those who do probably thought Carolina was a complete lock. I don't know what the spread on the game was but it had to have been a large spread.
  5. Off the top of my head I can't think of one person who thought the Cardinals would win. I wonder how this will affect LV's bottom line? I know Vegas tries to put the spread so both teams will be bet equally but I still see the higher payouts for betting on Arizona hurting them.
  6. IMO, it's hard to call many rookies busts after one year. It's not impossible he'll be a great receiver but his attitude right now has him riding on the tracks to bustville. Glad he's not a Bill.
  7. You really have no clue what you're talking about do you? Once again Dibs great posts full of facts that people will cast aside because it doesn't fit with their realities. It seems like you believe this is supposed to be a hard and fast rule and not a general trend. Yeah, when you pick former first round backs in their waning years it really makes your argument look good, but how about talking about them during their prime? Doesn't quite make such a good argument does it. Addai was injured much of this year so keep from picking guys that only make your point when they're injured and old. What about them in their primes? Barry Sanders carried the Detroit Lions on his back for years. They had nothing else and IIRC they made the playoffs with him. Marshall Faulk, OJ Simpson and why do you think the Dolphins had problems when Marino was QB? They never had a great RB to go with him.
  8. What SDS means is that the Cardinals were the biggest losers of the NFC but have turned it aournd completely. It doesn't matter what players a team has if the HC can't devise a system to get the most out of their talents. I believe that Wisenhunt, Harbaugh or Sparano could have taken this Bills team to the playoffs this year.
  9. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
  10. With the 11th pick in the draft the Buffalo Bills select.... a guy that it's way to early to talk about and that half the board will hate and therefore go on and on about the front office sucks they don't know what they're doing Ralph is cheap and he doesn't want to win and the treadmill to nowhere keeps running.
  11. As much Brady hatred as there is out there I'm surprised I couldn't find it on Youtube. I did find this montage of guys getting JACKED-UP
  12. Ransom drop off Somali coast. Article. It is funny in a macabre way that four died and one pirate gets all the cash that didn't fall off the boat. Four out of five dead. That's a shame. I understand that one country can't violate Somali waters without some sort of UN approval but this out of hand. If Iran, Iraq, Saudi Arabia and the USA just waited til these A-holes were safely far enough away and then just bombed the $#!+ out of them I wonder if this would stop or decrease a whole lot. Let the international outrage go against several countries not just one. I also don't understand why Navy Seals couldn't board these ships and capture these A-holes?
  13. You watched the whole thing!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I thought this was going to be a break in the case about the cheese recipe.
  15. While looking for that I came across this.
  16. I'd be willing to bet that's the first time that sentence has ever been written on this board.
  17. This guy is a huge scumbag. Did he do it in anger I'm 99.99999999% convinced he did but, where are the legal grounds? The woman now says it was an accident, no big surprise with domestic violence victims, and so the best witness in the case is in his favor. If they refuse to seat him without him being convicted of a crime there may be significant legal grounds for a lawsuit. If he beats this, and I have a feeling he will, then can he really be legally held accountable by the Senate? If I were lord of the Senate and there were no legal repercussions to oust him I would in a second. Unfortunately from a legal standpoint I don't believe it's that easy.
  18. Obviously you've never been in the south and Buffalo. Biiiiiiiggggg difference.
