  1. BLAINE — A 42-year-old Mount Vernon man suffered minor injuries today after losing control of the FedEx semi-truck he was driving on Interstate 5 near Peace Portal Drive. Edward Sutherland was driving a 2005 Freightliner truck with a 40-foot trailer southbound shortly after 11 a.m. from Blaine to Burlington, said Washington State Patrol Trooper Keith Leary. As he neared the exit, Sutherland began choking on some spicy pork rinds he had bought at a store, Leary said. 3. Link BP may face probe over bomber's release By Jesse Solomon, CNN July 13, 2010 6:15 a.m. EDT ...BP, which plans to begin offshore drilling in Libya in the coming months, touted the 2007 oil agreement as "the single biggest exploration financial commitment an international energy company has ever made to Libya," according to the company's website. The troubled oil giant stands to earn as much as $20 billion from the deal, according to Lautenberg. Megrahi, who only served eight years of his life sentence for the bombing, was released by a Scottish court on "compassionate" grounds, citing a doctor's opinion at the time that he was dying from prostate cancer and had only three months to live. In a letter to the British government last week, Lautenberg was joined by Democratic Sens. Kirsten Gillibrand and Charles Schumer of New York and Bob Menendez of New Jersey in calling the validity of such a prognosis into question. "Mr. Al Megrahi is still alive and reportedly living in luxury," the letter said. "The doctor responsible for the key medical opinion has told the media that not only could Mr. Al Megrahi live another 10 years, but that the Libyan government had commissioned the doctor to make his assessment." In response, the British Embassy in Washington posted a letter on its website from the British ambassador to Gillibrand on defending Megrahi's release. "The decision to grant Mr. Megrahi's compassionate release was made on the basis of advice from the Director of Health at the Scottish Prison Service, who drew on the advice of a number of medical experts," the ambassador said...
  4. Happy Birthday to you, Happy Birthday to you. You fill me with dread and I've got a much better thread.
  5. After his Realtor told everyone on TV where he'd be living forcing him to find another place, Van Pelt breaking his reception streak by not calling a throw for him and being in a small town I wouldn't have been surprised or upset with him much if he did deride the city a little. He's definitely taking the high road and I can understand why he'd be happy to leave. JMO
  6. There are children being raped and killed, going to bed hungry, being physically and mentally abused daily and on and on and yet these people choose to put their indignation towards this.
  7. 5 out of 5 dentists surveyed know this thread is superior to the last post wins thread. You'd have to be a total moron to think that you could make the last post in a thread that can only be closed by the starter of the thread or a mod. - Brusher Teeth, DDS
  8. BECAUSE YOU PEOPLE ARE TOO DUMB TO REALIZE MY THREAD IS FAR SUPERIOR TO THIS ONE!!! LINK 'NUFF SAID!!

From the link; Report: Channing Crowder to miss season with foot injury Posted by Gregg Rosenthal on July 11, 2010 6:01 PM ET UPDATE: This report was a mistake, the result of an NFL Network crawl from 2009 running on a re-aired game today. Channing Crowder is not out for 2010. We apologize for the error.
  11. Yeah, Hypnotoad has y'all believing you can win this thing. YOU CAN'T!!!
  12. This is based on a story from the Globe so I'm not holding my breath. You forgot this one for OJ
  13. I'm first runner up Jackasses!!
  14. Yeah, until some irreplaceable items are stolen or broken during the burglary.
  15. But this guy deserves only five years. Who's the bleeding heart here. He, claimed to have a gun with one victim and had a laser site pointed at their head threatening to shoot them. Bucky Philips was only doing small crimes before he started killing cops. Were you one of the "Run Bucky Run" crowd? This kid was escalating his crimes. If he would be set free in a few years he'd go right back to doing what he's doing and I believe it would eventually get violent.
  16. Pam Dawber!!
  17. The guy can't even get the facts straight on who the Bills gained and lost in the offseason and you guys seem to think he has any idea of what he's talking about. All it takes is a Google search to find this stuff out.
  18. Sorry I don't fit the stereotype you'd like to believe.
  19. Dr. Peter Venkman: This city is headed for a disaster of biblical proportions. Mayor: What do you mean, "biblical"? Dr Ray Stantz: What he means is Old Testament, Mr. Mayor, real wrath of God type stuff. Dr. Peter Venkman: Exactly. Dr Ray Stantz: Fire and brimstone coming down from the skies! Rivers and seas boiling! Dr. Egon Spengler: Forty years of darkness! Earthquakes, volcanoes... Winston Zeddemore: The dead rising from the grave! Dr. Peter Venkman: Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together... mass hysteria!
  20. I caught that too. It's the very first thing in the article. I saw that and didn't feel the need to read any further. JMO
  21. I'm sure that if you were one of the people who's homes were broken into or had your plane or boat stolen you'd have a different take. This guy is no hero he's a criminal and hopefully all of his crimes in several different states and in the Bahamas will be strung out consecutively so he never sees the light of day. JMO
  22. Good, hopefully he'll be put away for life.
  23. Just a reminder. Gangsta Kitty Kicks ASS!!
