My Uneducated Prediction: Spiller's Contract
Steely Dan replied to BuffaloATL's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Dude, never, ever, ever buy a jersey that's a new player. Wait til they've shown something. I've got a $70 JP Losman jersey hanging in my closet. I'm praying the Bills get a pro bowl player soon that wears #7 -

Chris Carter vs. Andre Reed
Steely Dan replied to Logical Reasoning's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What they said. Moon ran the the run and shoot because he could do it very well. Kelly ran the no huddle because he could do it well. Jeff George couldn't have run those offenses. It's the player's ability to do it. -
Elaine: "Why do they call it a wedgie?" George: "Because the underwear is pulled up from the back until... it wedges in." Jerry: "They also have an Atomic Wedgie. Now the goal there is to actually get the waistband on top of the head. It's very rare." Elaine: "Boys are sick." Jerry: "What do girls do?" Elaine: "We just tease someone until they develop an eating disorder." - Elaine, George and Jerry, in "The Library"

Link Minnesota judge frees man convicted in acceleration crash of Toyota By Jim Kavanagh and Emanuella Grinberg, CNN August 6, 2010 11:39 a.m. EDT ...Lee's accident is among the first of a growing number of cases getting a second look since Toyota announced the recall, acknowledging that problems with sudden acceleration were more extensive than originally thought. In testimony before Congress, company executives apologized for underestimating the problem. Toyota recalled more than 8 million vehicles, prompting Schafer to seek a re-examination of the vehicle in the 2006 accident. "This never seemed right. A man with his family in the car -- his pregnant wife -- goes on a suicide mission? Then, the recalls started, and the complaints sounded just like what happened to Mr. Lee," Schafer said in March. "It sounds just like a case of unintended acceleration." In the end, though, the conviction was vacated not only because of evidence of mechanical failure, but also because Judge Smith determined Lee's original attorney, Tracy Eichhorn-Hicks, had failed to defend him adequately at trial. Eichhorn-Hicks had stated in court that Lee must have had his foot on the accelerator, even though Lee himself always maintained that he had pumped the brake to no avail.... Wow! Just Wow! Some people's lives are really messed up. Not only this guy but the people who've died too. I'm glad he's free now and can be with his family.

It was nice of him to give George that free colonoscopy. For those who want George I have a couple of questions; Seriously? Have you ever seen him play? -

Great dog! You should be proud of yourselves for giving this doggy a good home. I'm guessing he was abused by a male and that's why he shies away from you more. The yard thing just might be too similar from where he came from. Give him time he'll come running when you come home eventually. Man, that's ruff.

If these people are really for "Defense of Marriage" they need to toughen laws on spousal abuse, polygamy, child abuse and adultery. For some reason though defending marriage doesn't have anything to do with that. It only has to do gays marrying. If the same amount of work was put into those issues they'd be defending marriage a lot better, JMO.

I can't speak for anyone else but here's my opinion on that; bigot 1. Main Entry: big·ot Pronunciation: \ˈbi-gət\ Function: noun Etymology: French, hypocrite, bigot Date: 1660 : a person obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance — big·ot·ed \-gə-təd\ adjective — big·ot·ed·ly adver Do you get it yet? A better question is why don't you think it's bigotry? The people of this country can't make laws just because they want to. The laws have to be in line with that pesky constitution. So the will of the people is not always legal and we've made great strides in this country due to realizing that. Another question I have is; why do you care? How does this affect your life? The ruling puts Walker at the forefront of the gay marriage debate and marks the latest in a long line of high-profile legal decisions for the longtime federal judge. He was appointed by Ronald Reagan, but his nomination was held up for two years in part because of opposition from gay rights activists. As a lawyer, he helped the U.S. Olympic Committee sue a gay ex-Olympian who had created an athletic competition called the Gay Olympics. Walker is a Republican. He said he joined the party while at Stanford University during the Vietnam War protests, and spent two years clerking for a judge appointed by Richard Nixon. People shouldn't let facts get in the way of an argument. Whenever a conservative movement suffers a defeat in the court system it's an "activist" judge who's responsible. Any decisions made they agree with aren't activist judges. Could it be possible that this ruling is based on the law, which supersedes the will of the people? If somebody doesn't believe in the Constitution they should move somewhere that allows oppression based on bigoted beliefs. I'm sure they'd be happier. What he said!
