  1. If Bryd is not great people should be fired- he has to be great to justify that pick considering the Bills needs and who was left on the board.
  2. lets look at last years line - Walker was OK and our best performer overall, Butler was ok as a pass blocker but was occasionally bull rushed and really struggled to get any movement in the rush game, Fowler and Preston were just below average athletes, Dockery had some talent but most of the time didn't seem to have his head in the game, wiffed on some important plays, Peters had immense talent but there are two common reactions to feeling underpaid, some say I'll work so hard they will have to give me a raise, others say screw this and start doing the minimum to avoid being fired and steal office supplies, Peters was the latter. Our new line? lets see, well Hangartner is better than Fowler or Preston, Rookie guards have a history of playing pretty well, but at OT? make a list of all the starting LTs and RTs and put Walker and Butler where you think they fit, the result is not pretty- you going to keep in TEs to block? teams will just send more pass rushers or have double coverage on both wide-outs. I still don't understand the logic of moving Walker to left tackle, why down grade two positions when you could have just screwed up one.
  3. yeah right here- I'm going with Joe D on this one- he's said on numerous occasions that the Bills use very passive blocking techniques and schemes- and this is why it seems like every Offensive lineman "blocks like a pu$$y" me paraphrasing- I don't know if that ended with McNally or not- the deeper question is will drafting tough guys make the Bills tougher or will Juaron Pussafy them first.
  4. 1. Talk is cheap - what athlete says he's not ready- really can't think of one, everyone of these guys think they are ready from the MMA guy who's going to summit 30 seconds into his match to the softball team about to be down 30 to 0 by the fifth inning. looking at this for hope and despair Hope- guards have a good history of being productive as rookies- I'm 99.99% sure that Hangartner will be an improvement over Fowler. Despair- Walker is in no way a prototype of a LT except for having long arms, if he loses 40+ lbs I might reconsider. I have even less faith in Butler moving to RT, he seems both stiff, and lacking in power. The line in general with no one being in the same position, one can only wonder what Oline cohesion will be like.
  5. Most - WRs RBs CBs least- OTs, Dline
  6. 7 and 9 but a much better 7-9 than in previous years.
  7. The only thing that could possibly make this true is Tommie Harris has a questionable Knee- which is a pretty big deal with an undersized DT who depends on having great quickness.
  8. Bills still need to add a High quality Big DT- Stroud can't play every down and the Bills get pushed around like Christmas shopping carts without him- if there was any truth to the John Henderson deal then the Bills should jump on that.
  9. Lawrence Sidbury was the best value at DE- fastest 10 yards, a natural 266 with the frame to gain 10-15lbs without hurting his speed, long arms, and smart- one knock, small school
  10. Toddgurley? don't you mean Todd Girly-Man
  11. Wilt Chamberlain deserves some consideration - most dominate basketball player of his time, world class volleyball player, and participated at a high level in multiple track and field events in college.
  12. The truth is Buffalo is probably in the bottom quarter of teams in ability to compete- the Bills have been competitive but it's a hard formula to follow because it depends on taking risks and getting lucky - Bill Polian is the model, taking a chance on a relatively unknown and hitting gold- the draft has lost it value as an equalizer as the early picks are so expensive they are a determent instead of a benefit - get a rookie cap, and get rid of bonuses, straight cash and an insurance policy so high picks who don't pan out can be cut without killing your salary cap, then maybe we can compete.
  13. It might be his natural position but he was the 16th OT drafted- there was a reason he was converted to guard.
  14. this is what I heard.
  15. who's our pro bowl LDE? Schobel is our RDE - damn learn to read- here I'm typing slowly, Maybin will back up Schobel and on Obvious passing downs replace Kelsay- maybe you're not faking a roughing because you post like you are concussed
  16. Pisa might have been nice but he was not vital - I think adding one more run stuffing DT is more important.
  17. Maybin will back up Schobel and play LDE in obvious passing downs this year- what's so mind boggling about that
  18. We all got it coming, kid.
  19. Garrison Sanborn (McKinney has to pick LS up) and Ko Simpson ( not a Special teams guy) out- Joel Bell and Schouman back in.
  20. ESPN not in hindsight but right after the 2006 draft Buffalo Donte' Whitner DB Ohio State With Lawyer Milloy in Atlanta and Troy Vincent clearly on the downside of his career, Buffalo has questions at safety. However, it has far grater needs at offensive tackle and defensive tackle. Taking Whitner is a one of the biggest reaches we have seen. Buffalo (from Chicago) John McCargo DT North Carolina State Some picks are more difficult to explain than others. It's true that defensive tackle is one of the Bills' needs, but taking McCargo here is one of the biggest reaches we've seen in years. You not suppose to judge a draft until after three years (cause it lets the perpetrators slip away) well it's been three years and these picks did not give value considering the position of the picks- Ngata was a no brainer and there were safeties in the second round who are just as productive as Whitner.
  21. I wanted the the two Bells to start at tackle- then the Bills running attack could be called Marshawn and the Belligerents
  22. If a tree falls in the woods and no is around to hear it- it bodes well for my illegal logging operation.
  23. I know Losman quite well as we both belong to the "red meat eating, brush cut wearing, baritone singing, back to the 50s real manly man's club" he says football is a phoo phoo sport and is way too sissyfied and full of sissy boys- he is waiting for Michael Vick to come to Buffalo to realize his dream of a new sport "MAMAADAFABAFITOT" Mixed Awesome Martial Arts and Dogs also fighting and Bulls also fighting in Teams of three he already has his Mexican connection- just waiting for Vick and some permits.
