  1. I like the Bills first 3 picks 4a Red Bryant DT the Bills have a fairly good DT rotation but only Stroud is a real run stuffer 4b Carl Nicks OT/OG could challenge Butler and is a better option at OT then Chambers 5. Owen Schmitt FB- Schmitt and Lynch would leave a lot of LBs black and Blue I like the Bills last 4 picks
  2. explaining the picks 4a Reggie Corner and 7c Kennard Cox- why? because the only thing Youboty is developing into is an embarrassment 4b - Derek Fine- coaches said damn if only Schouman was a little bigger he could play 5. Alvin Bowen - the new Josh Stammer 6. Xavier Omon - coaches said damn if only Dwayne Wright was a little faster he could play 7a Demetrius Bell- looking for the next Jason Peters 7b. Steve Johnson - looking for the next Sam Aiken
  3. When the Bills win a superbowl I'll give the Bills the Benefit of the doubt on anything that looks screwy - as for qualifications I'm old enough to remember Bill Polian drafts so I know good- are you a chef ?, did you go to culinary school ? no- yet you know If the food tastes good or tastes like crap -amazing
  4. Greer is 5,11 180 he- when he was a rookie he weighed like 165- 170 - ie too small - it wasn't a height issue McGee 5,9 200- now McGee is a little short but he stronger than most CBs and has good jumping ability These players are average size for CBs not small- if you are looking for small check out last years Bills front seven except for Crowell they were all undersized
  5. ding ding ding no more calls we have a winner the Bills must be much happier in their OL depth than I am
  6. wow that's almost as impressive as the Dwight Wright highlight video
  7. Best Buffalo first three picks worst Buffalo next three picks
  8. 3. Carl Nicks OT/OG 4a. Chris Ellis DE 4b Martin Rucker TE 5. Frank Okam DT 6. Owen Schmitt FB
  9. Connor's big problem is that players are picking up an extra yard or two after contact- has to build up his lower body.
  10. I like those picks but in this order Harvey, Albert, McKelvin, (Thomas only with a trade down) best Mock I saw had us getting Albert after a trade-down with Detroit
  11. 1. Derrick Harvey 2. James Hardy 3. Carl Nicks
  12. best things to have 1. great QB 2. dominate lines 3. everything else- or more to the point 1. great QB 2a. people who protect the QB 2b. people who attack the QB
  13. I really like Derrick Harvey- Bennet as 4th round pick would be sweet- don't forget about our extra 4th
  14. 30 is old for a RB but a WR is usually pretty good until around 35- a drafted WR given a 4 year contract might not really come into his own until the 3rd or 4th year- Chad Johnson is going give you 1000+ for at least 3 years.
  15. I don't know how much Kelly should be downgraded but why should he go a lot higher than Bowman who is now rated as a 6-7 rounder or Marcus Monk now rated as 5-6 rounder.
  16. The Bills trade 2009 1st round pick for Chad Johnson 2008 draft 1. Derrick Harvey DE could back up RE and LE and eventually take over from Kelsey 2. Carl Nicks OT- when Peters was injured it reveled a lack of depth at OT- 3. Red Bryant DT- not a desperate need but could spell Stroud- Bryant is very tough against the run 4a Martin Rucker TE- less than great size/speed numbers push him down - but he has demonstrated he can catch the ball 4b Zack Bowman CB- big CB who could be a steal if fully healed 5. Donnie Avery WR - good KR has some talent at WR too 6. Marcus Monk WR- Injury pushed him down - big and smart 7a Trevor Scott DE/OLB- special teams and pass rush specialist 7b John Sullivan C- can Preston be here another year 7c LB-
  17. yes I agree - two different type players- Harvey will start out backing up at both RE and LE and he athletic enough to drop back occasionally but when he totally matures physically he will be a LE who is good against the run and can still generate good pressure and get 8-10 sacks - Groves starts off as a pass rush specialist or a 3-4 OLB - if he can get stronger and hold more weight he might be able to play RE full time- he is a fantastic athlete and he could get a lot of sacks like Wares or Merrimen.
  18. usually it seems when a team is about to totally dominate at a position like that - something prevents it
  19. Nelson reminds me of a taller Josh Reed - which ain't that bad
  20. I don't know about Kennison but I like the Idea of getting an experienced WR even if only a couple years
