I agree, Fred and Marshawn good, OL especially the interior Bad

I'd like to say no but it really would depend what they did in free agency and the draft- this year I disengaged from the Bills during preseason because they didn't fix enough holes even though they had the money- when the Bills were 5-1 I thought I had made a mistake but I stuck to my Guns and the Bills proved me right.

Hypothetically, if the Bills Leave WNY.....

Rumor has it that they are going to merge Buffalo and Detroit after the Draft and see if they can get something that Resembles an NFL team out of it- the team will play odd years in Detroit and Even years in Buffalo- Toronto will get an expansion team to even things out. -
I have Heard that Pete Carroll would like to take another shot at the NFL but I doubt it would be with the Bills
-
SKOOBY- do you ever go to the parties where Bills management roll around in piles of money and laugh hysterically at what saps Bills fans are for paying for this crap.
-
I will say that is how Ralph would do it so he can say Juaron quit so he doesn't have to pay the contract.

Ha Ha you got there before I did- remember coffee is for closers
-
You forgot to say coffee is for closers
-
I'm not saying they never have a watchable game- just that they are few and far apart
-
Is not are they not very good but they are so freaking boring- I can remember Bills teams that had worse records that were more fun to watch- The last time I remember having a couple weeks of fun in a roll was the first half of Bledsoe's first season how freaking long ago was that.

Supposedly feeling his input wasn't being taken seriously was one of the sources of tension between him and Polian- He did give Tommy D free reign and that was a disaster so maybe he's just snake bit.

A Few Thoughts About The Game (and the season)
billybob replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Philly has two first round picks theirs and the Panthers- their two starting OTs are both pretty old and are both FAs this year- they could get go after FAs but their cap situation is not great- the top 4 OTs are probably going to be gone before their first pick- Detroit has their own pick and Dallas - they are not going to give up their number 1 overall but they might be willing to give Dallas 1st and their own second- the reason is they would like to take a QB but they also have a huge need for a LT- would either team make a deal who knows, it would depend on FA but it's not out the question - Peters is a two times Probowl player at LT which is 2a or 2b in importance as a position after QB and tied with DE- he's only 27 and he will have no learning curve. Also I'd only make this deal if I thought there was no way I'm going to pay Peters the big bucks and that I thought I had a pretty good player in Bell -
While I do think Ralph is kinda cheap that's not the big problem- the big problem is Ralph wants the type of Coach and GM that will take a lot of input from Ralph- also it's important for Ralph that everybody gets along- too bad that most of the best coaches and GMs have big egos and don't want an owner meddling and want to be able to fire the people who they consider inadequate.

A Few Thoughts About The Game (and the season)

1. Dockery is a dog - Preston, Fowler, and Butler are just not good enough to be starters 2. DEs Denny is ok as a backup - so is Kelsay if he took a huge pay cut - I'd be nice if we could trick someone and get a player or 3rd round pick for Schobel 3. DTs I like Stroud, Williams would be ok as a backup and I have no Idea whats up with McCargo- Spencer Johnson gets blown up 4. The draft - the Bills would of done better these last 6 years with their first and second round picks - if they just followed Draft guides or Fan Mock drafts. -
how will the bills market themselves next year?
billybob replied to NicholasCal1's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
booze, gambling, strippers, untaxed cigarettes and gas - sell the team to the Indians -
Ralph has said himself that he just wants to be competitive - the guy shoots for 8-8 and he thinks 7-9 is pretty good and if he goes 9-7 he's really happy- He just doesn't shoot for a superbowl type team where if you missed you could still make the playoffs.

owner, HC, GM, DE, C, TE, 2OG, DT, LB, WR, S, other than that we are pretty much set
-
I think after Peters, Walker is our best OLineman, not that he's great but the other guys have major deficits in talent- Docker play is below average, Fowler gets blown-up against the Big DTs which most teams seem to have now, Brad Butler gets a solid B- as a pass blocker but a D- as a run blocker, Preston just isn't athletic enough, the only guy who makes me mad is Dockery because he doesn't seem to have his head in the game - seems to not Know who to block, stops running as soon as the play is an inch ahead of him, doesn't finish blocks, and lets DTs get under his pads and push him back- and it's not like the guy doesn't have talent- a couple times a game he shows why the Bills spent big money on him.

Let me turn that on it's head - if you have good players you get continuity because don't have to replace them because they are good.

Could we get a first round pick for Whitner?
billybob replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm going to say some things I like about the POZ - he's a hard worker and he seems pretty bright but his best position would be inside in a 3-4 defense -
I'm not accusing - I'm simply wondering

The Russians use to have this saying " they pretend to pay us and we pretend to work" -
Peppers is a free agent you can get him for cold hard cash- as for what Peters is worth on the open market, he's a probowl player at the second or third most important position- he's just turned 27 so he should have five or six prime years ahead- OTs often can play at a high level until their late 30s- the top 2 OTs in this years draft will probably both be gone in the first 4 picks and neither is the athlete Peters is- looking at these facts I say his value is at least at the average of the first 4 picks- go find a draft trade value chart and you'd get an Idea of what a team would have to give up for the Bills to trade Peters.

Could we get a first round pick for Whitner?
billybob replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If I had to cut one I'd be Whitner no doubt- and btw I'm not ripping Whitner or even the Poz I think they go out and play hard and that's all you can ask from a player, the people I'm ripping are the Bills organization for making stupid picks and In the case of the Poz Bills fans who gloss this kid when his production is average a best - I started to rant but stopped myself. -
The problem isn't that she's a women or even that she's related to Ralph - the problem with the Bills organization is that how well you do your jobs seems to be insignificant as compared to how well you kiss Ralph's a$$, and if you get along with everybody else, I'm not even going to say those things are unimportant but man how well you do your job has to count for something.
