  1. really the gist was pretty easy to get
  2. I kinda agree but T.O is a one year fix and since he's 35 so he might be prone to missing a few games- I like Fine and Schouman but neither of them are game changers
  3. couldn't be because of Bills fans not renewing season tickets- naww
  4. If this is true it would be great because then when I make a ridiculous trade scenario - no one could say " Hey this isn't Madden dude".
  5. Everything I here from the Bills says that Bell is going to play somewhere on the line this year- either LG, RT or LT - if Peters is traded he will move to LT. Philly and the Lions are pretty desperate for LTs - many on this board says Philly would never give up two 1sts and a 3rd for Peters but how many picks would they have to give up to move into the top 5 ? and is any tackle in the NFL draft going to be as good as Peters in their Rookie year, Philly might only have a couple shots at a Superbowl before McNabb is too old so they Need good experienced tackles now.
  6. Yeah our 11th for Detroits 20 and 33 then trade Peters for Philly's 21, 28 and their 3rd so we have - 20, 21, 28, 33, 42, 75, 85,
  7. Detroit is one of the two teams who would like to get Peters- they need a OT but would like to use their first pick on a QB- they have a lot of extra picks from the Roy Williams trade.
  8. JP doesn't have an Intelligence problem, he has a confidence problem, an anxiety problem, when pressure comes, his vision gets narrow, flight or fight takes over.
  9. The Bills expect Bell to play this year - I thought at LG or RT with Walker moving inside but maybe they Like him at LT- they like his athletic ability, his work ethic, and his attitude- he's worked hard on his strength and will come in at 315-320 this year. The Bills won't give Peters away but if the right deal comes along they will trade him- that no hard feelings everybody is friends BS isn't true- Peters thinks the Bills treated him unfairly and the Bills think Peters and Crowell cost them games. If the Bills get multiple 1st round picks don't be surprised if one is a WR (psst- Darrius Heyward-Bey) T.O. is a 1 or at most a 2 year fix. If the Bills get both of Philly's 1st round picks and their 3rd- It might go like this - move down take 1a Pettigrew TE, 1b Darrius Heyward-Bey WR, 1c Sean Smith S 2a Connor Barwin DE, move back into 2nd for Chris Baker DT after which they look for OGs and LBs
  10. word is Hardy works hard but might be learning disabled
  11. I'd take a look at Dewayne Robertson if he's healthy and relatively cheap.
  12. Months ago I thought that there were two teams that might take a run at Jason Peters because they have the need and the resources - Philly and Detroit Trading Peters only makes sense if the following are true- The Bills have a strong belief that Bell can be at least an adequate LT, there is a premium player that The bills would like to move up to like Aaron Curry, The Bills would need to get adequate value for Peters which on talent rates a number 1 overall but with injury history drops to between 2 and 3 overall. what would I consider a fair trade? Jason Peters and the Bills 2nd round pick for Max Jean-Gilles Philly's 2 1st round picks and their 2nd round pick. Bill's move up for Aaron Curry, uses later first round pick for Brandon Pettigrew , has LG in Max Jean-Gilles.
  13. At least Drew added excitement here for a year- I like this move, the Bills have been painful to watch the last couple seasons, If T.O. can bring back a little bit of excitement that's wonderful- Good move Buffalo and those that know me know I don't say that much about the Bills
  14. Except when all the players that would really make a difference are gone, once again the Bills would rather over pay 5 mediocre players instead of over paying two good players who could actually help.
  15. The Bills are never prepared- that would involve planning and thought- and that's crazy talk!!!
  16. Crowell 6,1 246 - career stats 65 gsmes 344 Tackels 233 solo 111 assist 17 pass defense 7.0 sacks 4 forced fumbles 0 rec 5 ints bigger, and better than any of the guys mentioned but the Bills have to cut off their nose to spite their face.
  17. I don't like the Tampa 2 but players and coaching adjustments win or lose not systems- It's one of the things I hate about football today, coaches trying to stuff players into systems instead of structuring game plans around the strengths and weaknesses of your players.
  18. Lynch and Parrish
  19. Well said- I think we all treat the Bills like a Parent treats their child coming home with a D minus report card, some will want to hold that child and tell him it's ok you are a beautiful unique snowflake, others will want to give him a kick in the butt and tell them to start working harder.
  20. Having Hantgartner is better then having Preston or Fowler just like having Diabetes is better than having AIDS or Polio but do you really want any of them?
  21. I like his receiving stats- if he can block I'd be all for getting him.
  22. Every time I hear that we are improving our Team by taking mid-level scrubs, Just like New England? Just like the Giants? it makes me laugh, is Rocky Bernard a mid-level scrub? how about Adalius Thomas? WTF don't you understand about being tied with the Lion's as the team longest without a playoff apperance. Nice spin, you should work for the tobacco companies.
  23. George Foster as a LG, Igor Olshansky as a DT
  24. Because everyone is over priced in FA and we would rather take 5 overpriced mediocre players than 2 overpriced good players- just like your Uncle would rather pay $75 for a chair that smelled like cream cheese and cigarettes at a garage sell instead of paying 15% higher than average for a new chair at Rosa's.
  25. Well they are both quick- just like a Yugo and a Corvette both have four tires and a steering wheel.
