  1. We may only get future considerations, and based on Marshawn's track record, I'm not sure I'd want them . . .
  2. Marty would be a great hire, and maybe a better fit than Cowher. The guy has had success everywhere he has coached, and the lack of success in the playoffs doesn't bother me; the teams that beat Marty's typically WERE the better teams.
  3. I'm not much of a soda guy, but when I have a POP, I like I.B.C. or Coke on ice!
  4. +1 I always thought Wade got a raw deal in Buffalo; indirect casualty of the music city travesty. Maybe some good kharma can rub off on us now.
  5. Katrina Irwin Katrina Katrina II She's the early morning anchor in Rochester
  6. Makes me want to see Broadway Joe back in the booth, LoL
  7. Dude, Nix was the assistant GM in San Diego.
  8. That could be a while . . .
  9. I think it's wise to get someone who has been a head coach at some level; (not necessarily an NFL coach).
  10. Yup. I want to see more than an interview. I want to see the whole body of work and talk to people who have worked with and for the candidate . . .
  11. Ya I'm getting anxious to hear some news outta O.B.D. too!
  12. True. Most head coaches don't get to where they are by being push-overs.
  13. True. And D.C. has a reputation as on of the most violent cities in the country. It wouldn't shock me to hear of someone seeing somebody pull a gun on a cabie.
  14. Actually the worst thing this franchise ever did was to Fire Bill Polian. D U M B !
  15. Checking to see if Ralph was going to take Cowher out to dinner?
  16. Having thoroughbreds at the WR positions "don't mean a hill of beans" if you can't get the ball to them...
  17. Obviously he'd be an upgrade, but I don't see it happening.
  18. Just don't invest in "Rudy Beverage". You'll lose your shirt . . .
  19. Hottest thread of the day so far . . . Hopefully we get a decent HC and see some kind of turn-around this year. The last time I had good feelings about the team making the playoffs was when Bledsoe was QB. BUT I'M NOT QUITING THIS TEAM ! ! !
  20. It would be nice to see Andre get in sooner rather than later. Definitely one of the best to play the game.
  21. One of the all time greats. A QB's QB . . .
  22. And the firings of the Bills front office staff didn't help the unemployment numbers. Maybe we can get some of the 787 Billion dollars to hire some competent coaches. That would help Buffalo become a winning franchise again meaning more ticket and memorabilia sales, and more people parking in front yards near the stadium on game day. It would inject much needed cash into the local economy. Somebody wanna make the call to Obama??
  23. Thanks for the link; it's a good video. I think Billick would fit in here
  24. Mike, I feel your pain. Been a Bills fan since the mid 80's. To see us be an elite team for a decade and now be "average to horrible" for a decade is frustrating. But they are the home team and until the team moves out of Buffalo, I'll support them. Besides, where would you rather be than "Right here, Right now"??
  25. We could do a lot worse than Billick (and that's what worries me). The guy has a proven track record, and the sooner we hire him or someone else of his caliber, the sooner the new HC can get here and start rebuilding this thing. Nix and the new HC have a TON of work to do between now and the draft. I hope the front office staff is doing a lot of research on available free agents right now because Buffalo is going to have to bring in a few FA's to rebuild. We can't fill all the holes with the draft. Closing comments - Get Lynch outta here please -
