I agree - Maybe let Fitz run the first quarter and after that get the backups out there for a look. We know what we have with Fitz, but we don't know how Brohm and/or Brown would do. Put them out there for a few series...

I think the good thing about playing a team like NE late in the season is it really shows what the team weaknesses are. This team can not stop the run, plain and simple . . . The Bills need to get some more talent in here. I would expect to see a significant turnover in the defensive front seven this off-season. This is a marathon - We are going to need 2 more solid off seasons to get this team into playoff contention in this division. The Bills play in the toughest division in the league.

Chan has done a fine job with the hand he was dealt. I'd like to see what he does with a team that could actually stop the run when it needs to...

If we think back to this past off-season, Buddy Nix said that we weren't going to be able to fill all the holes in one draft. I'd like to think we added some quality guys this past April. We have picked up a few free agents off waivers this season that will hopefully pan out in the future. This coming off-season we need to add some more pieces to the puzzle through FA signings and a decent draft. I don't see us in the playoffs until 2012 because of the strength of this division. In the mean time we need to build strong lines and beef up the Line-backing crew. Yup - same thing after every loss . . .

I would seriously like to see Brohm and Brown both get to play a couple series each, just to give them a chance to get some reps against another team. Fitz is still my #1, but I think these other QBs need a chance to get some PT in a real game.

Ya it could get ugly today. But you never know. That's why they play the games, right? I would love a win, but more importantly I would like to see the Bills play a disciplined game where they don't give the ball away 3 or 4 times, and where they play a technically sound game. Fitz has a good game, no special teams blunders, and coaching decisions that work out. We get to test our mettle against the best team in the league, let's do it right. Take the freakin' Pats to the wire.

Thanks SJ. The one thing I saw in that chat thread that raised the hair on my neck was the talk about getting a WR with our first pick. I'm not sure what that poster was smoking but keep it FAR away from me please! LoL. With Dallas losing yet again, I see Buffalo picking any higher than 6th in the draft. Looks like Carolina definitely has 1st overall locked up at this point. 8 more days and the picture will be clear...

On paper, the Patriots should roll up at least 35 points. It should also be noted that except for the Cincinnati game, Buffalo has failed to score 20 points in two months. I don't see Buffalo winning this one, but they have surprised us before. Go Bills!
