  1. I agree. The Bills are two years from being a playoff caliber team in this division, and that's assuming that they have two very good drafts and effective FA signings.
  2. Prior to last week, I wanted the Bills to win out. After being demolished by the Sucktriots at home last week, it showed me just how great the difference is between the Bills and the top teams in the league. We ned the best draft picks we can get in the next draft, plus free-agent signings to get the Bills back to the middle of the pack. We are 2 off-seasons away from being a playoff team.
  3. I would like to see the coaching staff work with him in the off-season to see if there is a chance that he could be a pass-rushing specialist. If that fails, he could always model suits for Men's Wearhouse . . .
  4. Just run it baby. Brohm will probably get 40 yds himself!
  5. Hey Trader - Thanks for the tip. And I agree with you, we DO need a tight end, but I don't want to use one of our first 3 picks on a TE this year . . .
  6. Good point - playing a "last place" schedule typically yeild more wins the following year (unless you're the Lions - the formula doesn't seem to work for them )
  7. 3 of my co-workers do P90X and they swear by it. 2 are in their 30's and the other is in his early 50's. They are pretty dedicated to fitness. As far as chow goes, I have some decent recipes that I got out of the ABS Diet cookbook. Send me a PM if you are interested; I don't know if there are any copyright issues with posting them in an open forum. All joking aside, I really need to get back in shape - desk job for the past 3 1/2 years has led to packing on 15 extra lbs . . .
  8. Not much of a drinker, but I like a good Bloody Mary or a Margarita
  9. In retrospect, God may have caused Stevie to drop the ball so the Bills would be better-positioned in the 2011 draft, thus improving the team's future. Additionally, Stevie got to eat a big piece of humble-pie; he's going to spend more time improving his receiving skills. The 2010 season was already long-over for the Bills by the Pittsburg game. It's all good . . .
  10. Fox is a good coach. The issues in Carolina are similar to the ones in Buffalo - the talent cupboard is pretty empty. Among other things, I think losing Julius Peppers really hurt that team. Good observations SJ.
  11. Yeah - and Howard Ballard had a holding call, AGAIN! Hahahaaaaa
  12. Is Gronk even available? I think he's on Denver's roster right now...
  13. If he can get "football healthy" again, it would be great to have Mr. Merriman on the starting roster. Let's hope 2011 brings some good fortune to the Bills.
  14. Sorry PTR - I'll be sitting in my recliner watching the game from Wayne County
  15. Based on the number of recent injuries, I'm starting to think it's going to be loss #12 for the Bills this week.
  16. Can you say "3 yards and a cloud of astro-turf?"
  17. Going to my oldest daughter's apartment with the family. Playing Yahtzee and various other games, eating, drinking, watch the ball drop etc . . . Nice to not have to host it for a change.
  18. So true. Look at the Patriots players and how many of them are former 1st or 2nd round picks. They typically DON'T mess up with their top picks. Additionally, they have a knack for finding guys in later rounds who are players. Sort of like what the Bills used to do during the Polian-Butler years.
