If we had a defense that could have held the opposing team to 100 yards rushing, I think the outcome of this season would have been a lot different. Not to mention the Bills NOT being able to rush for at least 100 per game. We suck on so many levels, it's not reasonable to pin the lack of success on Fitz.

Agreed. Fitz needs to work on rushing the passer and clogging up running lanes so our new linebackers can do their jobs. Wait - Isn't Fitz part of the offense? Oh yeah, never mind.

I have to agree with an earlier post - if Luck is all that he appears to be, someone is going to trade up to try and get him before the Bills, because it's obvious Buffalo would take him if he's on the board at #3.

The was the most amazing football game I've ever attended in my life. Back then, the Bills always seemed to have a shot to win the game even if we were down by a couple TD's in the 4th quarter. Hard to believe it's been 18 years!

I'm not ready to part with our 1st, 2nd and 3rd in this draft to move up 2 slots. This team will not be a playoff team in 2011 because we have too many holes to fill in one off-season. Our first 3 picks should be starters this year. Why replace a decent NFL quarterback (Fitz) with a great(but unproven?) quarterback and leave 2 other holes to fill? Unless Luck is "Peyton Manning - can't miss" quality, I'm not ready to give up that much this year.

If the QB selections left at #3 are blue-chip picks, I'm ok with a QB. Otherwise, I want the best defensive lineman available.

He'd be a great addition, but consider these facts: He has been a head coach for 3 different programs: Chicago and Miami in the NFL, and University of Pittsburgh. I can't imagine him agreeing to be anything other than a head coach in either the NFL or a college program.

He should have quit after last season. Minnesota should terminate his contract if he doesn't retire.

Just a reminder - Jimbo's first NFL game stats (which was vs the Jets): 20 completions on 33 attempts, 292 yds, 3 TD's, no INT's.

There is no denying that the offense needs help. The O-Line is a work in progress, we have no effective tight end, and the running game is so-so. If we upgrade the O-Line and get a TE who really can block (and maybe catch 2 or 3 passes a game??), hopefully the offensive production will improve. I don't think we need to draft any WR's this year - we have plenty on the roster already. The defense is just plain horrific. We need 3 or 4 new starters on the defensive front 7. We also need a situation DE who can get to the QB on 3rd and long. (Any chance Maybin could be that guy?)

It's truly amazing how bad our past decade of drafts have been. And most of the guys that we drafted who were good have been lost to free agency or traded away. We are more than one season away from a return to the playoffs, and if the Pats have a good 2011 draft, we may have an even longer wait.

I'm on board with that - as long as it's not a repeat of the McCargo Fiasco . . . . . . but in retrospect, there have been so many fiascos.
