  1. I was sure that Carolina would be interested in him. Maybe the whole lock-out issue is the overriding factor right now.
  2. Yup if we had been in the NFC West we would probably have finished 6-10.
  3. Congrats Gringo! My 1st grandchild will be born around draft day. Another Bills fan on the way!
  4. He got 131, One TD. No Fumbles. Congratulations Mr Lynch. They should give ua a 3rd rounder; I still think we did not ask enough.
  5. What do you mean? We're getting a conditional draft pick for him. Could be high as a 4th rounder! FML
  6. That's good news. Most of the senior bowl participants would be considered potential draft picks or UDFA signings
  7. I don't want an upgrade. I want a championship. Let the Texans or Raiders sign him . . .
  8. There may not BE a season next year, and if he declares for the draft, he will lose his scholarship eligibility. Might as well stay and see how things play out.
  9. Nah. Too early yet. I don't see anyone trading a proven pro-bowler for our pick.
  10. Fitz knew that if he started against the Jets, the Bills would have won the game, and messed up the chance to draft a stud D-Lineman. He mentally ran through several mock draft scenarios, and realized that it was in the best interest of the franchise to rest that knee right into the off-season. Mark it down - we WILL be drafting a blue-chip lineman with #3 (unless we trade down) Fitz is my hero; I'm getting a lil' misty just thinking about him
  11. 3. Don't draft any players who haven't played at least 2 years of college ball. I think that's big. Back in the day, the Bills would often draft small-school players who would be successful in the NFL, and the indicator of future success was 3 or 4 years of solid performance in college. I don't know why the Bills seem to get blinded by these guys who have one solid season, and next thing you know, they are being declared a future hall-of-famer without having played a down in the NFL. Give me a guy who has been solid all the way through college any day...
  12. I agree. The Bills have to be able to stop the teams in their division, and of course that includes the Patriots. I don't think a team is going to be able to shut down Brady and Co completely, but ya can't allow them to score every time they have the ball.
  13. Baker Street was one of the better songs from the late 70's. "You used to think that it was so easy . . ." Classic line.
  14. Agree 100%. This team needs a serious influx of defensive talent; both for starters and backups.
  15. He's got good hands; not sure about his blocking skills. He's better than any of our current tight ends. I'd sign him to a 4-year deal. He is 29 yrs old so he's probably at his peak right now.
