Fitz knew that if he started against the Jets, the Bills would have won the game, and messed up the chance to draft a stud D-Lineman. He mentally ran through several mock draft scenarios, and realized that it was in the best interest of the franchise to rest that knee right into the off-season. 3. Don't draft any players who haven't played at least 2 years of college ball. I think that's big. Back in the day, the Bills would often draft small-school players who would be successful in the NFL, and the indicator of future success was 3 or 4 years of solid performance in college. I don't know why the Bills seem to get blinded by these guys who have one solid season, and next thing you know, they are being declared a future hall-of-famer without having played a down in the NFL. Give me a guy who has been solid all the way through college any day...

I agree. The Bills have to be able to stop the teams in their division, and of course that includes the Patriots. I don't think a team is going to be able to shut down Brady and Co completely, but ya can't allow them to score every time they have the ball.

Agree 100%. This team needs a serious influx of defensive talent; both for starters and backups.

He's got good hands; not sure about his blocking skills. He's better than any of our current tight ends. I'd sign him to a 4-year deal. He is 29 yrs old so he's probably at his peak right now.
