  1. Trying to sell the Christmas Eve game is tough for out-of-towners. I'd pretty much bet my house that game doesn't sell out (unless a business buys up the unused tickets)
  2. I love the Bills, but let's face it - they sucked against the Jets, and a good commentator is going to call things as he sees them. I would have had a hard time praising much of anything the Bills did Sunday. Other than the Byrd INT, Fitz running in for the 2 pt conversion, Stevie's long reception, and Lindell's TD-saving tackle; there weren't too many Bills highlights
  3. Well that's a bummer. But there are decent kickers available on the waiver wire. Jeff Reed isn't bad and his personality would mesh well with the current Bills locker room.
  4. @ John - I agree. I'm starting to sound like a broken record, but this team is a work in progress. We had a great start to the season, and when we are healthy, we can play with anybody. The problem? By mid season, most teams are fighting a war of attrition, and the Bills are suffering the same fate. Along with upgrades in the defense, the Bills need to get some quality depth on the roster. Will it happen this off-season? Hopefully. And hopefully we don't continue to let quality free agents leave the team (a la Jabari Greer)
  5. LB or DE in the first round, unless there is "can't miss" offensive talent at our first pick.
  6. They could have played that for anyone..
  7. Good point Joe. We sucked on special teams today too. Gave up some long returns.
  8. Well, when they get Luck, we'll see how good C.P. really is. (Assuming that Luck pans out)
  9. He may, but the playes are still the ones who have to make it happen.
  10. #2 - It's good to see some of last year's draft picks starting to emerge. #5 - I still think we got the best guy in the 2011 Draft #6 - I'm just really glad Stevie is on our team. Wish we had one more top notch guy lining up on the other side. #8 - I was discussing Fitz with a co-worker this week and said "He just doesn't make big mental errors; his accuracy is what I worry about". OK, today he made some bad decisions.. #12 - No argument from me: the Jets are the type of team that matches up very well against the Bills. They owned us today. Time to get ready for the cowpokes. Go Bills!
  11. This team reminds me of the '87 Bills (although not quite the same talent level as the '87 team). A team on the rise that can blow people out one week, but gets sent home with their tails between their legs occasionally. They are entertaining, and other than today, they have been "in" every game that they've lost. I still think we finish with a winning record. Wild card is a question mark, but we may sneak in as the 6th seed. Time will tell . . .
  12. I hate when the Bills lose. Just hate it. Do something active or working out helps burn off the frustration.
  13. What were the redneck's last words? "Hey y'all - watch this!"
  14. I don't remember the year, but Reagan was president at the time . . .
  15. Gotta give some credit where credit is due - the Jets have a defense that matches up very well against the Bills. It showed today.
  16. Brady and Belichick will be having nightmares over this one for a while. They are clearly not the team they were a few years ago. Brady was a little off on several passes. I think he is past his prime now. The guy is 34 years old, and it's starting to show..
  17. Yup; Kent was quite a guy. The Bills were truly blessed to have him for 11 years. RIP Kent
  18. E. Manning sticks in the knife and gives it a twist. Love it.
  19. Guide to Understanding Women
  20. Missing those guys hurt the "D" today.
  21. There has too be a lot of bad blood between the Jints and the Pats. Jints spoiled 19-0 for starters.
  22. Would LOVE to see the Pats get whupped at home. COME ON JINTS!
  23. We still have a ways to go to handle a tough physical defense. Healthy I think we would have a decent shot at beating the Jets. We don't have enough depth to overcome the loss of key players. Other than Dareus and Barnett, the "D" on the field today was very similar to the one that couldn't stop anybody last year.
