  1. Yeah I guess with the AFC seeming to be the weaker conference and the drop off of almost every AFC contender this year, I could actually see the Cheating Bastards* make it to Indianapolis… where they'll get their asses kicked by the NFC representative.

Balance of power has definitely swung back to the NFC. Packers and Saints are very good teams, and either one could win the SB going away . . .

  2. Look Maybin is producing and we should be happy for him. That he busted here shows the Bills coaches did not have a clue on how to use him. Also Buffalo, and especially this board, give up way too early on players. Maybin and Marshawn are perfect examples. Better coaching, better leadership and some tolerance from fans for two kids that were in the league before they matured was all that was needed. They should be producing here. Instead we re-pick the same position draft after draft, neglecting areas of need. We never love the one we're with. Now Fitz is getting the same crap that we heaped on these guys.

We would not have wasted a pick on CJ if Marshawn was still on the team. Freddie and Lynch would have been unstoppable. Freddie and CJ are very stoppable. Now all the crap that this crowd threw on Lynch and Maybin is directed on McKelvin. Give the guy a break and a chance to succeed.

On top of this, you predict that Maybin, who has more sacks than any player on the Bills, is going to get cut next year is ludicrous. Take your head out of your a$$. He will be in the pro bowl before Marcell Dareus.

We run more good players out of town than any team in the league.

Has anyone else voted for Maybin for bowl ballets? BAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA!!!!

  3. The Troup pick was a poor pick from the get go.

1- It was a huge reach for a need position- since we were converting to a 3-4 defense and had no natural nose tackle on the roster.

Troup was rated by NO ONE to be a high second round pick.

The switch to the 3-4 contributed to their reaches for Troup and Carrington(who was considered one of the few 3-4 base ends left at the time)

You mean we didn't get the standard "We couldn't believe he was still available" quote from the F.O. after the pick?

  4. Just trying to get some opinions out there from fellow Bills sufferers...ERRRR..fans. I know that coaches (especially here) are usually given a three year window to produce reasonable success. And, while we finished 4-12 last year and likely will finish 5-11 this year, its hardly the "improvement" we were looking for, especially given the 5-2 start we had this year. Anyway, the question is, if this team does in fact finish losing 9 consecutive games, is Chan Gailey out in Buffalo? I personally don't believe it will happen, but losing 9 straight after starting so well is inexcusable.

Chan has at least one more year. I think it's more likely that he gets two. Gotta remember - this team has a SEVERE lack of talent. How many players from our roster would start for Green Bay or New England??

    Can you name two?

(Our best linebacker is someone that Green Bay CUT!)

  5. Yesterday on the CBS pre-show, one of the CBS announcers was talking with Santonio Holmes and Plaxico Burress about Stevie Johnson's TD Celebration (where Johnson imitated shooting himself in the leg, ala Burress). Holmes stated (somewhere along these lines), "first off, he's playing for the Buffalo Bills..." With they way Holmes said [Johnson] is playing for the Buffalo Bills, he said it in a disrespectful manner (meaning playing for the lowly Bills) and disrespecting Johnson.

Are the Bills going to lie down and take this the next time they play the Jets next year or are they going to step up?

Until the Bills perform better on the field, they are a target for anyone who wants to take a cheap shot.

  6. If Edwards get fired, it will be difficult for Gailey to hire a proven DC since Gailey will have no job security. Unfortunately I don't think Buddy will be gone till Ralph dies. I think the most likely scenario is that Edwards is fired and Waanstadt become DC. Hopefully this will involve a switch to a 4-3 defense.

I don't see anyone (other than Edwards) getting fired at the end of this season. Sounding like a broken record here, but the talent cupboard was empty at the end of last season and we only filled some of the holes this past offseason. We need some more impact players

I should condense this and make it my new signature.
