I think you're answering that part because that may be all you read. Did you READ the rest of it? You're still saying he bought his house going into his fourth year. He didn't. He bought his house the end of May 2006. He DID do it long before his contract season. Prior to that he lived IN Buffalo from Day 1. You commend Trent for "buying into the community from Day 1" because he bought a house in HAMBURG and spending the off season in California, but then bash JP as disengenous even though he has lived IN Buffalo from Day 1, stays here in the offseason, does a ton of community service, and puts money into the economy year round? I understand it's your feelings and opinions, but really.. does it make any sense?

Not true. Even though there was little sense of stability in his position with this team for the first two years, JP bought his house in the early summer of '06, TWO years after he was here. Even so, he had an apartment downtown since he was drafted. Again, untrue. Since he came here JP has always frequented Buffalo business, was often seen out in public and has dumped money into the Buffalo economy. He was one of the few QB's since Jim Kelly to make Buffalo his home in the off season. Buffalo Lives was in the works for some time before it actually came to fruition. And as stated above.. he bought the house in '06. I suppose you could look at it that way, but on the other hand the guy spent $665,000 dollars on a house IN Buffalo. Right in the heart of the city. Not the suburbs where most players live, WHEN they live here. Really... if YOU had $665,000 to buy a house, would YOU buy it in Buffalo? Your opinion and you're totally entitled to it. Based on what, now that what you "thought" happened wasn't correct. Some people are. Not me personally, the kid deserved a vacation. They all do. I wish that maybe he'd come back a little sooner to acclimate to the weather, but he's an adult and I trust he knows what he's doing. Umm..no. He and his SISTER moved here. Agreed. Believe me.. there were many occasions where I wanted to drive into the city and smack JP upside the head. LOL!

It was a shame. Not to mention the crap about no audibles. JP ran the no huddle and audibled competently in '06, only to have Fairchild kill it in '07 (before anyone comes back with it was because he sucks Trent ran it once and it was pulled from him too). I'm not sure the uncomfortableness in the pocket JP shows is uncertainty. I think it's him fighting every instinct he has to be the type of QB he is to try and become the type of QB the coaches WANT him to be to fit into their system.

Actually.. I can respect that opinion. All of it. Though you may or may not be aware that JP was pretty much told NOT to run (I will put this hear as hearsay 'cause even though I remember reading it, I don't have a link handy at the moment) JP happens to be one of my favorite players. Don't get me wrong. I like Trent. He's a hell of a nice guy and has a decent game. Where he goes from here is anyone's guess. Trent fits this Bills team's system. Jp? Not so much. JP is a risk taker and willing to get smacked in the mouth. For some reason, that just appeals to me more. But, based on game performance I can't kind of understand the dislike for JP. It holds a lot more merit than "he talks like a girl" or "he needs a haircut" or "he just sucks". A lot of people can't put into words WHY they don't like him. I commend you for being able to.

I think we probably had a decent playbook last year. Of course, someone revoked Fairchild's library card and he wasn't able to check it out to use.

Because that's the type of offense Fairchild (and Jauron?) wanted to run. Trent does it to a T. It fits his type of play (NOT a knock on Trent). JP was drafted as a mobile QB with a strong arm and we took him and told him to stand still and throw short.

(36%), 24 were 10-15 yds.(21%), 11 were 15-20 yds.(9%) 7 were 20-25 yds.(6%), 2 were for 25 to 30 yds.(1.8%) 1 was 35-40 yds.,(<1%) 1 was 45-50 yds.(<1%) and 1 was for 85 yds.(<1%) 8 passes were for a loss of yardage. Almost 3/4 of JP's passes are for less than 15 yards (73%). In fact 82% of JP's completed passes were for 20 yards or less.

Awww.. c'mon. The Bills get lots of screen time. Watch the clips. Almost all they players and/or teams their highlighting are playing AGAINST the Bills. ESPN does the same
