I believe you are confusing the rise from among the worst O-Lines in the NFL (2018) to average unit in 2019 and thinking they are actually good. They were not good last year - they were mediocre. They still need to get better. They should probably do it again.

RBs are a dime a dozen - they'll find one or two... but this team REALLY needs to improve on the OL.

Best WR Trio in the AFC, or in the League?

Seriously - I am certain the PFF praise of the Bills receivers is absolutely a setup to justify their initial take on Josh Allen - not kidding even a little. -
Bills need a CB, Trevon Diggs played at Alabama

I like the concept, but they really need an upgrade somewhere on the OL still more than another CB. Hmmm - who we could trade at this point to pick up someone else's disgruntled/expensive OL? -
Gonna go out on a limb and say Belichick retires

Should The NFL Delay Free Agency?
BobChalmers replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Oh yes - flying in a private jet and driven around in a chauffeured car - soooooooo dangerous. <facepalm> You in a bunker somewhere or do you plan on buying groceries after your 5 giant packages of TP run out? Web searches of school stats? That's what we did. Not sure what you imagine to get from a live visit. -
"Team to Watch" - Bills to "Go for it"
BobChalmers replied to Never NEVER Give-up's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And the last time in those 20 years where they were coming off a 10-win playoff season with a rookie-contract QB, a top 3 defense, and over $80M in cap room was...? -
"Team to Watch" - Bills to "Go for it"

For all those who were whining about the deficiencies of the team last year - THIS WAS ALWAYS THE PLAN - they have been building the team for 2020 since they got there. ... injured twice in this calendar year... https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl/news/henry-ruggs-nfl-combine-jon-ross-40-yard-dash/k4uuhfuwuj6e1sg85g37hztvr Not saying I wouldn't take him - but putting all the chips down on one guy who's popped a hamstring and gotten a concussion in the last 3 months is a little scary. -
Should The NFL Delay Free Agency?
BobChalmers replied to Mike in Horseheads's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Florio is an idiot - good to see him go down in flames for yet another stupid idea. As others have said - the amount of contact required to do free agency is minuscule - and easily mitigated. Have I mentioned Florio is an idiot? Totally prepared to have the draft not have a live audience, and frankly, the audience adds little to the experience for most of us. B/R is better coverage than the NFL/ESPN noise anyway. -
Matches their franchise future - no cap space and anchored to a garbage QB

Internally there’s some love for Tee Higgins

Reminds me of Mike Williams too - bust 1-st rounder who ended up in the CFL after a few years... https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Williams_(wide_receiver,_born_1984) -
"Interview" was an analogy - when you're a draft candidate the whole event is the equivalent of an interview. He didn't say he's working on football - he's claiming he's still tired from playing football - SIX WEEKS AGO - how is "Some guys want to focus on football and not the combine drills." remotely relevant here? How so? it's related to a true story about how he had to be bribed (with toys) to play football in the first place. At some point the evidence starts to add up that he's not that interested in the game. Not a certainty, but I'd be worried as hell drafting somebody with multiple incidents along a common theme.

Good Morning Football ran a quiz game today where they asked trivia questions about the top 4 WR's - Lamb, Jeudy, Ruggs, Higgins. I'm watching with my wife in the kitchen eating breakfast and the question was "this WR's mom had to bribe him to play football by giving him Hot Wheels" I shout "Has to be Tee Higgins - that dude is NOT a football player - he's soft!!" Sure enough. It was Higgins. Later some question that made the WR sound like tough guy comes up - Brandt tries to bail Higgins out by guessing him - I'm saying "no way" - sure enough it was Lamb. I'm telling you - everything about Higgins screams not-process BUST. Higgins is like that QB prospect from "Draft Day." You can laugh at me later when he's putting on a yellow jacket, but mark it down, because I honestly see this guy out of the league in 3 years.
