  1. Right - this would make SO much more sense if it were about the defense I'm kind of hoping and even predicting that the Pegula's offer Ryan half his remaining to go away.
  2. Baltimore Orioles x1 Florida State football x3 U Maryland Men's Basketball x1 (was always a fan of Lefty and company for hoops since HS so I didn't change my allegiance for BB when I went to FSU as a student)
  3. Yup. It's kind of its own November playoff game. Their win over Denver cemented that. If they go 4-3 but one loss is to Chiefs they are probably out. That game is big.
  4. Fixed. OP is clearly trolling - no one is that ignorant. If not. next time just a thought - look up the stats THEN post.
  5. 9-7 with tiebreakers (which they have in abundance so far - WILL be good enough. 9-7 may sound like nothing in the abstract, but to need 10-6 TWO other teams have to get on a big roll to 10-6. Who do you think that is? OAK, PIT, NYJ are the only ones with a prayer. HOU, MIA, or KC would need to go 7-1 to make 10-6 - yeah right. OAK would need to go 6-2. They're a rising team, but that's not going to happen.
  6. OH it's THAT guy. Never did take me up on my what $500 bet? He gets 5-11 or worse and I get Bills make the playoffs. spoogy == TROLL
  7. Yup - that's my thought too - the difference between losing to the Jags and not is the difference between 4-6 and 5-5 if they drop the next two. 4-6 is a tough spot - not totally out of it, but not good. I guess I'd stop short of calling it a playoff, but they're in a hole if they lose. Since we can't expect a win @NE that 5 has to come tomorrow night. OTOH, a win @New Jersey puts them in likely position to close out the Jets and clinch a spot when they host them at Buffalo at the end.
  8. I don't buy that at all, sorry. There are only a few players picked that were so off from the consensus here - you're revising history to deny Wilson was one of them where OBD just screwed up in front of us. Ngata over Whitner was another. Bills shocked the world on that one, including the fans. Seriously - people were screaming for Wilson.
  9. Even this is a completely FALSE STATEMENT, and I am seriously sick of seeing it repeated, presumably in ignorance. Please look at the stats and reconsider. Matt Cassel two games, QBR 62.3, 61.6, 2 losses (NYG 4-4, SEA 4-4), 324 yards, 1 TD, 3 INT EJ Manuel, two games, QBR 81.7, 75.3, 2 losses (CIN 7-0, JAX 2-5), 561 yards, 3 TD, 3 INT Cassel has brought almost no value whatsoever to his team. Manuel has played mediocre football behind a poor and injured OL and missing the team's top two WR. BUT Manuel has been CLEARLY BETTER than Cassel.
  10. Better choice is to work tirelessly to clean it up. That you don't have that on your mental list is a character flaw - the fact that it's an all-too-common flaw makes it no less so. Pats* legacy is permanently tainted, and no discussion of the (clearly measurable) greatness of their accomplishments will ever be free of that asterisk.
  11. Sorry to hear that the doctors have given you so little time.
  12. I don't even understand the OP's question. Obviously Manuel starts if Taylor is hurt.
  13. Thank you!!! The people pushing this stupid line about the "mistake" of dealing Cassel can not possibly have actually looked up his 11 years of statistical sub-mediocrity. PLEASE LOOK IT UP. EJ's normal is the BETTER PART of Cassel's weak career. And oh, golly, Cassel gets a chance to play, and pulls a 1 TD 3 INT game with a 63.0 rating. EJ 2 TD 2 INT and a 75.3 rating. What was I thinking - fire Whaley on the plane! IDIOTS.
  14. Sammy's health is worrisome, but there is no question how good he is on the field - he is drawing doubles nearly every play - you can see it in the whole rest of the offense consistently doing worse when he's not on the field. Without Sammy noone is getting open for them. Exactly - which QB from EJ's class would you prefer? The frustration that they took Graham over Wilson - well, THAT hurts, but that was before Whaley.
  15. 3rd and 15, actually, right? I had a Ravens' fan friend text me almost immediately and out of the blue with "that PI call was BS". First comment he's made to me during a game all season.
  16. No, actually Cinci entered the game with their entire starting 53 - they've been amazingly healthy. Thanks for the cliche, though.
  17. I'll add that we can't evaluate the OL until we see them with a coach - that starts this week. They need to improve.
  18. Correct. I don't understand why this is so hard. Bradham dragging Chris Ivory down hard by the hair last year (completely legal) ... http://www.thescore.com/nfl/news/640283
  19. Which by most accounts describes much of Marrone's coaching style.
  20. Well with a little "luck" Solder's absence could help with that.
  21. Yeah - all this national noise I've seen about Tyrod not playing has been speculation - nothing actually solid - am I missing something?
  22. No. He was a complete jerk and it's amusing as heck to see him fail. If it wasn't obvious enough, John Murphy couldn't stand him - and if you lose him, you're really a jerk.
  23. So everyone understands they haven't had an experienced OL coach since the regular season started, right? I expect they will improve once Kromer gets back after this week (Cincy). If they don't, we'd have to question his value.
