  1. McDermott's wording was precise - TT _IS_ the starter. After he looks at the film tomorrow...
  2. Dear Marcell - I'm sorry you're a fat lazy stiff.
  3. I think there are plenty of good coaches on the staff - and McDermott was limited in who he could hire based on timing - but he needs to man up and fire some of the interim stiffs this off-season or I'm calling BS on his "process" There is just no way he can call Castillo's performance acceptable going forward
  4. I'm sorry, how is this possibly a hard question. JUAN F'ING CASTILLO MUST GO - our offensive line coach and "run game coordinator". In what possible universe can he not be considered an epic failure turning the #1 running game in the league into a mediocrity?\ Followed in short order by Rico or whoever else is thinking TT is better than Peterman. They obviously don't have sufficient functional eyesight to coach football.
  5. Except talent at WR doesn't matter when your QB is junk.
  6. This article was full-on-idiotic.
  7. Castillo needs to go. Everything else about the OLine is uncertain until that happens. Here in Ravens-land, fans were not the least bit sorry to see him go. I think of Castillo as the Ravens' revenge on us for the Lee Evans trade.
  8. Vlad is awful. Dump him and his coach too while we're at it. Davis and Holmes have played pretty well, but Davis is pretty far down the depth chart and with the addition of Benjamin and the emergence of Zay I don't see how they can say Holmes is more important than a late 3rd. Holmes is basically the #4 WR on one of the league's worst passing games.
  9. Also Jax is going to win that division, so they are no w/c threat.
  10. I'm pretty uncomfortable rooting for a team we lost to h2h (Cincy).
  11. Both at once. "Hello lunch, goodbye, Lunch!"
  12. So first fire that POS OL/Run Game Coordinator Juan Castillo.
  13. So do the Colts take one of the top QBs next April?
  14. Open with a play-action bomb to KB - who actually kind of IS superhuman
  15. And I'd submit either of them will be taking an enormous risk on their legacy if they don't retire together... If one retires and the other then still succeeds or suddenly fails the legacy of one or the other will be severely damaged.
  16. Yes. The obvious 3 have been Ducasse, Holmes, and Ryan Davis. Honestly it's sad after such a great game, but trading Holmes and a 7th for Benjamin sounds pretty sick.
  17. Denver - no question. 1) KC draft pick 2) head to head win over Denver for wild card chances - we want them in the mix
  18. So true - can't believe he's been on the bench so long, but apparently it's been a longstanding personal choice on his part to just stay in Miami as a backup. IMO he's better than Tannehill too.
  19. And yet, seemingly, most stick to one they prefer or know best. "wow these guys were #1 in the entire league for 2 straight years, I'm not touching that." yeah - well what DOES Juan Castillo know how to do well?
  20. Great point. Also, in fairness to this year's offense, they really have played against a run of teams with very good defenses so far. http://www.espn.com/nfl/statistics/team/_/stat/total/position/defense In per game yardage rankings, Denver, Cincy, Carolina are #1,#2,and #4 in the league. Atlanta is 10th. Jets are only below average team they've faced at #25, and the Bills ran the ball plenty well on them while still adjusting to a brand new scheme in week 1. Let's see how they do in the next several weeks against considerably lesser rated defenses before completely panicking. Tampa #30, Oakland #23, New Orleans #26, KC #29, Jets #25 again, Indianapolis #31, Chargers #18, New Englandx2 #32... The Bills' remaining schedule includes FIVE games against the WORST FOUR yardage defenses in the league. Only Miami at #11 x2 is a better than average defense still on their schedule, and most are much worse than average.
  21. I'm concerned about whether they might blow each and every game. I'm a Bills fan. AND I'm an optimist around here!
  22. I AGREE he's a middle rung QB. He's also covering up his short-comings with these comments. Btw - in fairness, the Bills truly have played 5 really good defenses this year, so there's a decent chance they will start to put up a lot more points - enough to be a playoff contender if they have a top defense and running game. That doesn't mean Taylor's going to suddenly stop throwing behind/above/below his receivers far too often.
  23. Nothing I said - why did you quote me prior? Can't make a legitimate argument so you go with straw man?
  24. What did I inject? I quoted him, and added the context of his own performance. What do you think he meant by the "almost perfect" remark - he was referring to someone else's performance but not his own?? Are you asserting that Tyrod thinks it's fair to be required to be "almost perfect"? No, Tyrod is saying he is held to an unfair standard and I am saying that's irrelevant and a dodge because he is not playing to even a low standard.
