You realize the guy you're quoting (Al Davis) was a complete idiot who ran his team into the ground and lost one hell of a lot more than he won, right?
-
I assure you the process is going to have TT on a bus out of town in a few months.

Well given that he's 35th in passing yards per game in a 32-team league, I'd say a lot of guys. He had some good throws early today, then went back to his usual bunches of idiotic sacks and passes behind his receivers. Offense stalled out (YET AGAIN) in the second half, and they needed a game ending INT (YET AGAIN) to beat a rookie QB on a team that didn't care. His $16M salary could be used on a lot better options.

What happens to Tyrod next year?
BobChalmers replied to ChicagoRic's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I am pretty confident he will be a placeholder starter somewhere next season with a team that drafts a 1st round QB, then Tyrod will close the season and later his career as a backup. Less than 10% chance he's still in Buffalo IMO. -
Beyond the Tyrod noise - my bigger point was that the Bengals game was our common game with the Ravens. When (If) the Ravens sweep the Bengals, they will have established they are more deserving than the Bills who couldn't get it done against the same bad team. Now if you want to go revisit the Bengals game, which the Bills lost despite the defense forcing 3 Bengals turnovers b/c the offense was basically trash...

We are already hearing the national media ignorance trying to spin up the story that if the Bills win Sunday but lose the spot b/c the Chargers win that they blew it by benching Tyrod. The fact is a Bengals win over the Ravens is all they need, and if the Bills had beaten the Bengals themselves it wouldn't be necessary. The Bills offense was putrid against the Bengals and they lost a very winnable game. When (and if) the Ravens sweep the Bengals, they will get in by virtue of handling a team the Bills could not.

Tyrod makes all his receivers look bad b/c he only vaguely throws the ball "at" them. At their toes, behind them in their routes, those are Tyrod's "catchable" balls. Deonte looks good on the deep stuff where he can run under TT's random passes. Watching every game I was and remain certain Zay's confidence was broken early from so many poorly thrown balls.

If he screws his head on properly for the fourth quarter with plays like that to KB I'll get off of his butt for a full week! -

Amen! Sure wish the Bills were paying $16M for that level of play! -

But you know - if you were white, no one would complain about your lack of field awareness, right Tyrod? What a tool. -

Hah - look at Tyrod shaking his head and hiding under his blanket - what was that?? Hopefully Dennison ripping him a new one for that gawd-awful sack. -

That PI call was totally fine - Ellston was all in his face and not looking at the ball at all. -

YES - because the "Cult of Tyrod" is really cult-like. It's some kind of religion for these people to insist a former 6th-round draft pick who in his career has beaten out EJ Manuel and Matt Cassel for his job is some sort of quality starter. -

It's his fault Taylor doesn't have enough sense to throw the ball away? -

Yeah - take a sack for 15 yards what a bad play call by Dennison! The Cult of Tyrod needs to get a grip. -

When it's not there, a real NFL veteran QB (or rookie with half a brain) throws that ball away and goes to 2nd and 10. Tyrod is just bad. -

Again - this is why Taylor is not the QB of ANY team's future. He's a complete idiot out there.
