  1. I've been a huge Zay fan the whole time (wanted the Bills to draft him and thrilled when they did) and I still believe he is a good kid and a potentially great player. This whole thing is so seemingly out of character - definitely praying for him! I seriously don't remember being this disappointed/upset by a Bill off the field since my wife ran downstairs to have me turn on the TV and see the "white Bronco" driving down the highway Not that this is remotely the worst behavior - but so shocked it's with this kid! (are we posting a link to this thread on his Twitter to make sure he sees it?)
  2. His MOTHER is going to kick his ass to next year. Whatever this is about it's sad as all. Doesn't make any sense from anything else we've heard about his character.
  3. So we've established he's inconsistent?
  4. Yeah - or watch Texas @ USC. Darnold made a lot of good plays, but he made a lot of bad ones too.
  5. Nah - it's a witchy-sorcerer kind of magic thing, and he's only signing John Elway's SOUL to the "contract" - which he then uses to animate a simulacrum. ...I don't watch Rick & Morty (highly regarded though it is) - but I do have a master's in Astrophysics, so trust me on this magic witch stuff - totally legit!
  6. At the rate he's going, Beane will have gone back in time and secured the 1983 #1 overall pick used to take Elway! Then just like Field of Dreams or something, the spirit of young Elway will find himself being drawn to OBD to sign a life-and-beyond contract with the Bills.
  7. I think it's a good idea. Not sure we can get where we need to to get Barkley though. Shady is better than all of their current RB's, btw, but he's getting older than the rest of the Bills team McBeane are trying to build, but he's at the perfect age for a second SB run by the team that's there. This has also been discussed more than once by more than one host on WGR550 for what it's worth.
  8. Weird they just spent so much on Bradham, but given he got a 5-year deal I assume it was very cap-friendly for this season.
  9. They only gave up an expensive, injured, and largely already replaced player to move up - if they gave up picks you're point would hold. They moved up b/c "why the heck not?"
  10. The only Barkley play for the Bills is 1. Draft Barkley 2. Trade Shady back to the Eagles for Foles. This would be great for everyone - but the Browns who don't get Barkley.
  11. This is bad because 1. he's the most capable (those days he's actually on the field) AND 2. Arizona picks behind the Bills so not much help for moving up.
  12. During a season? I am sure he's been top 10. Ever stayed healthy?? I seriously don't think so.
  13. Yeah - I don't think anyone is talking about huge money for him - still probably on the order of $10M/year though. He's a really good choice for bringing up a rookie (and Peterman for that matter). Sensible thing with Bradford would be to pack any deal with incentives... Here's one: If he plays all 16 games he gets $200M, a 5% stake in the team, AND a week in the French Riviera with Kim. Even Terry would have to feel safe with that!
  14. As in... What if they moved up to 12 to get VITA VEA?!? Wouldn't be awful.
  15. Everyone he's getting rid of is overpaid so draft picks aside, he's accumulating cap space. Last I heard they are now up to around $100M(!!!) cap room for 2019!! You should definitely deny it - starting now!
  16. This entire thread is a RED HERRING. I have read almost no one here saying there are no good QBs in this draft. I have heard the more intelligent people saying there are 4-6 good QBs and it's unclear which if any are better than the others. WHICH MEANS that dumping a pile of picks to trade up to get one of the top 2 or 3 when 4 or 5 might be just as good or better is stupid.
  17. Well - staying at 12 there are still a bunch of other teams who could trade up above us.
  18. too much Nah - don't get revisionist on us here BB - Mario was a huge factor on this team for a good three years, and really upped the culture of the franchise.
  19. And who knows for sure which of these top 3-4 guys is better than the rest - or if any of them is for that matter???
  20. Sure - but is any one of them worth spending picks to choose over another? I'd be happy with any of them while keeping the most picks for other needs - only because I have no clue which will ultimately be good - or they could all be good then same situation - take the one that falls a little and keep the picks. None of these guys is Luck or Elway as a prospect.
  21. In principle that would be sweet, but I can't imagine having faith in his shoulder if the Colts would part with him. You have to assume the Colts know better than anyone how healthy he is.
  22. Cleveland isn't parting with either pick - they want Barkley AND a top QB YUCK - that's WAY too much. I'd rather wait on the FA QBs to go and see who they can get at 5 or so.
  23. I still have this nutty idea they really love Foles and will trade Shady for Foles after they move all the way up to draft Barkley! hehe - OR THEY ARE TRADING FOR LUCK!!!
  24. This is all starting to look very familiar...
