  1. Thank you - I feel like I have to explain this every year.
  2. St. Brown's still there...
  3. They did NOT "trade Watkins". The trade of Watkins was FOR HIS USE DURING THE 2017 SEASON ONLY. Watkins was a FA this season and is now on his third team. Yeah - some here are calling USING a draft pick to take a guy "trading a pick".
  4. And if they both turn out, one of them is worth a 1st or more in trade.
  5. The problem with that analogy is that I look at this menu of 2018 QB's from top to bottom and I don't see any premier cuts. I see a bunch of pretty good with a big question mark hanging over every single one of them. To me, trading up in this environment would feel like spending $20 to have my hamburger with steak sauce instead of $15 with ketchup b/c I wanted steak the restaurant doesn't serve!!!
  6. Getting the first pick in the 3rd round for a guy who's about to be the placeholder/backup for a team that went 0-16 last year?? THAT TRADE?? LOOKS LIKE THE SAME AMAZING STEAL IT DID WHEN IT HAPPENED. Honestly, Bills fans sometimes.
  7. Thing is, I'm not at all convinced Rudolph's ceiling is measurably lower than these other guys - he's a big 6'5" with accuracy and a track record of big-school success FFS. I'd be totally fine staying put, grabbing a stud LB at 12, and Rudolph at 22.
  8. Players leave, players get older. We've already lost two OL that started for the 2017 team, and no longer have depth at OLT. Getting any 1st round pick for a running back Shady's age is an absolute steal. I'd rather have Foles though - not a big AJ believer myself.
  9. Uhm - no, if someone said 11-5 I'd say they are probably nuts. falling back to 6-10 given the upheaval and tough schedule isn't unreasonable but I'd say that's at the low end of it. The idiots who every year say the Bills will get 4+ games WORSE than the prior year with logic like "because Bills" are tiresome. Dropping from 9-7 to 2-14 this year is a ridiculous prediction. Almost certainly from one of TT's national-media idiot suck-ups who never watched him play.
  10. What I like is how this happens EVERY year RIGHT HERE ON TBD!! And EVERY YEAR I offer $500 or so on 8-8 vs. their asinine 2-14, 4-12 predictions, and EVERY YEAR they go silent. There's just a whole heaping pile of stupid on the internet, and you don't even have to go looking to find it.
  11. Jackson AND Tre' White if we're being honest, right? We DID get a 1st rounder in return for ours last year... Having said that, I'd grab a top MLB and get Rudolph later. Still like this better than trading the farm for one of a bunch of equally unknown prospects.
  12. No - because the ROOKIE QB THEY WILL DRAFT will be starting before the end of the season, and he will need those WRs!
  13. Would you take a 16 TD 0 INT QB over one who throws a 32 TD 16 INT? Hint - the second one will score a lot more points and win a lot more games. Not throwing the ball is not a good approach to avoiding interceptions. Btw - TT is well on his way to permanent backup status - he is a placeholder for an unnamed QB who WILL replace him before the end of the season.
  14. If only he could LEAD A PASS to one of his RECEIVERS!!
  15. Sure - but the Bills traded DOWN to get EJ at #16 (using the extra pick on the mighty Kiko) . I will be sick to my stomach if the Bills trade away a fortune (likely what it will take) to get an unproven (bust-possible) commodity like Allen. WHICH MAKES TRADING AWAY MULTIPLE PICKS TO GET ANY ONE OF THEM IDIOTIC!
  16. I'd be thrilled with this, but I'm on the Rudolph is good list (not the best of all of them, but good enough). Can Ridley really go that late though? That seems optimistic. No way does Mayfield make it to 22.
  17. And that price was obscene. Jets got robbed, AND they will screw up the pick. For Mayfield at 2? Yeah that would be a shock. Not that I don't like him.
  18. I'm sorry - how does the math work that trading one year's worth of picks sets a team back 3-5 years?? Especially if it nets you a franchise QB, but even if it doesn't. Teams routinely go from basement to playoffs in the NFL, btw - and it only takes a year. There's also free agency (the Bills will have roughly $100M available next year) and higher picks following a bad year, and... You rightly scored double-digit "confused" reactions to this OP - congrats! ONE
  19. You have a problem with fans having a take? Uhm - why are you on a team fan page?? Yeah - Ron Mexico - I mean Michael Vick - was a total dirt bag top to bottom. I wouldn't put that on anyone without cause. Lamar clearly doesn't have the best accuracy, AND I'm worried about the way he plays (which is exciting as hell) is going to get him broken at the next level. I'm less concerned by his attitude, but I wouldn't ignore it either. 12 seems way too high for him. I'm frankly more put off by Darnold not THROWING at the combine. That really looked like fear he wouldn't match up to the competition.
  20. So basically it's the new Herschel Walker trade and we're the new Vikings? Honestly I can't imagine the Bills want a head case like him - as previously stated, definitely NOT a process guy.
  21. No RB is worth close to that.
  22. Looks pretty amazing to me - not sure all those guys will really be available, but that's why draft day is exciting!
  23. Because he's speaking rationally, logically, and calmly? You're right, if only Tyrod could play with all Hall of Fame receivers, he'd be a decent QB. Go find a Browns board - there will be plenty of need to make excuses for TT there this fall.
  24. Yeah but in all seriousness, it was kind of apparent the main reason they arrested him was for his own safety.
  25. Yeah - Mayfield's my first choice too - but this ^^^ is probably the situation - the Bills don't really control their own destiny on this - they need to be agile and smart the whole way though the draft - fortunately agile and smart is exactly what Brandon Beane appears to be!
