  1. Back in the day, as with Moulds, it was typical for ALL WRs to take ~3 years to figure it out in the NFL. I suppose college offenses have changed in a way that makes them more ready, but they really can get better with some experience too.
  2. In fairness to Foster, he was an UDFA with very limited targets at Alabama - he could get a lot better now that he'll be a full-time pro. His problems are mostly fixable with work. Look how much better he got just taking a few weeks to improve between his two stints on the Bills roster.
  3. "sure" is a strong word, but ALL the draft reports show a pretty weak top end for WRs.
  4. If we believe the article it's not "pure speculation". He's quoting a source with some knowledge of the specifics.
  5. At this stage of his career I'm not sure - and on a per dollar basis even less so?
  6. I suspect this will end Anderson's run here - you don't need two of these guys.
  7. It would take a bit of luck, but hey, Edmunds was supposed to go around 5-8 this year!
  8. Add to that list 4) It was McDermott with the well-documented relationship with Andy Reid - not Whaley. That trade arose at least in part from their relationship.
  9. So now Dawkins is struggling too. Last season it was Wood and Miller who deteriorated. COME ON OBD - FIRE THIS POS CASTILLO BEFORE THERE'S NOTHING LEFT
  10. FIRE JUAN CASTIILLO PLEASE
  11. OK - proof that this thread was intended as a joke by someone who just tossed up a new (second) account.
  12. I've got no problem with Croom and Thomas as talented projects and backups. Thomas is useful as an emergency /trick play QB too. I do have a problem with them being the starters at this point in their careers. Clay is obviously not very good and catching passes - this is hardly the first time he failed to complete a make-able play - he did it to TT a lot too.
  13. So do I start Josh Allen over Phillip Rivers @ Pittsburgh and Baker Mayfield @ Houston? I'm actually a bit serious - Rivers and Mayfield both have MUCH tougher match ups.
  14. It's amazing how elevating from Tyrod "throw at your feet" Taylor to Allen has helped Zay stop looking like a bust everyone was screaming about here just a few months ago.
  15. They called him "baby" Big Ben, the word "mini" appears no where in the article - why the thread title?? "Mini" makes no sense - Josh is bigger than Ben - "baby" does make sense.
  16. What is it with all the Troll posters on this board? I really don't remember there being quite so much mindless negativity here in years past.
  17. Darius? Unlike the cruel Marone, who demanded that you stand. I require only that you kneel.
  18. At some point in the second half I was worrying the Jags would get going, then I watch the replay of his pass and it's as bad a wounded duck ? as I've ever seen in the NFL or NCAA. I was immediately less concerned about them winning.
  19. This is true, but I was on for Mayfield anyway - I just saw him look too amazing in too many games in college. Crazy accuracy. His size IS an issue, and I didn't think any of the QBs was an across the board lock, but Mayfield was certainly the most impressive on the field and my #1, followed by Allen and Rosen. Darnold never did it for me - too many dumb turnovers and unimpressive throws in big games. Newton also played on a great team in college. I can't speak for everyone, but I am comfortable saying he's not nearly as good as HE thinks he is.
  20. JAX coaches are idiots - why do they keep passing?
  21. How in hell are these announcers making excuses for him? Allen made a great deep pass perfectly catchable in both hands.
  22. Seriously - how many drops and passes taken away by idiot penalties by this garbage OL? Jerry has always been, and remains a troll.
  23. I am still waiting for his first one this year - cut his butt. What the heck is wrong with Croom to put him on a list between those two slices of s**T? Right - you don't just bench him to send a message - you bench him to improve the play of the team. How is this even still a question? He's been absolute garbage ALL SEASON.
  24. No, you're problem is a you're a troll. How anyone complains at this stage about a rookie 7th overall pick who's 2-3 on a team that's 1-4 without him really can only have one explanation. HINT: It doesn't involve a surplus of objectivity or intellect.
  25. YES - this "TT can mask a bad OL" trope is flat-out wrong. Sure he can run fast - so can Allen. TT had terrible pocket awareness, poor vision in the pocket, and absolutely glacial decision making. He made the OL look WORSE in pass coverage, not better.
