  1. It does seem to me a lot rests on Allen's shoulders. And the coaching staff getting all these new players on the same page and playing fast. I do hope they settle on the o-line starters relatively quickly. Last year they seemed to be trying out new players or having them switch o-line positions up to the very end of pre-season. They need to work together to get synchronized.
  2. The world is not well arranged.
  3. 1000th reply: He'll be on the team, starting.
  4. Sounds like Beane's M.O. But they need help at DE if they trade him.
  5. What you are saying is moronic. THEY GAVE UP ONE NET PICK. You are saying that if I paid somebody twenty dollars and got ten dollars back from somebody else, I am out twenty dollars. That's not spin. It's elementary math. What a fool.
  6. I hate it when people cast a trade like this in terms of "giving up two 4th round picks." Yes, they no longer have two picks in the 4th, but they got an additional pick in the 3rd. So they gave up ONE 4th round pick in order to move up the other 4th round pick to a third rounder. They lost ONE net pick, and turned the other 4th into a 3rd. By no accounting did they lose TWO picks.
  7. The proof is in the playing. The Bills have had one playoff season since 2000, and exited in the first round after scoring 3 points. There is no reason for them to be put in showcased time slots. That's a simple fact. You and I know (or believe) that they are better than the national NFL audience thinks. That and $4.50 will get you a bad cup of coffee at Starbucks. I am fully looking forward to enjoying the consternation by national media when the Bills exceed expectations this season, as I expect they will. I bet you will enjoy it, too. It's always fun when people who don't give you respect are forced to do so by your proving them wrong. Peace.
  8. Who cares? It will be that much more fun if the Bills rip through their schedule and win a lot of games.
  9. Barring an injury to Brady or a complete collapse of the Patriots around him, the Bills cannot be a favorite going into either game against the Pats this year. There's just too much history of failure against them for anyone to expect the Bills to beat the Pats. For instance, in their first meeting in 2019, even if the Bills come into the game 3-0 and the Pats are, say, 1-2, the Bills will not be favored.
  10. So just be confident in your possession of the simple Truth. We'll see if it plays out any differently this season.
  11. It's useless to argue with Nihilarian. His mind is made up.
  12. And he had an 8th td reception that he fumbled at the goal line and Croom recovered for the TD. Not that fumbling at the goal line is to his credit.
  13. Ray didn't hold the knife.
  14. The Murderer
  15. Great player. Thug.
  16. JMJ Pray For Us. Why don't they sign Gayle Sayers while they are at it, or Jim Brown. What is the deal with Beane's attraction to aged running backs?
  17. The responses here once again demonstrate how many sports fans are a**holes.
  18. Yeah, that Pats defense against the Eagles last year was stifling.
  19. Terrible, boring game. I used to be uptight about the Pats winning all these Super Bowls. It surprises me how little I care that the Patriots won. They looked lame doing it, not special, not historic, not scary, not imposing or intimidating. The Rams were pathetic. Whoop-de-doo. Who cares?
  20. Final score, 31-10 Pats
  21. Yet another dang Panthers hire.
