  1. A sad decline Glad we didn't go after him, after the Willis McGahee soap opera
  2. Not under NAFTA. The bill is dead on arrival. And the bill is merely window dressing by a BC Senator to please the BC Lions owner David Braley, who strongly opposes the NFL going to Canada. Unlike the US Senate, the Canadian Senate has no power. Such a bill would never pass the House of Commons, which is where real power resides. This story is a non-story.
  3. Players on injured reserve typically do not stand on the sidelines. The exception for us last year was Poz who was there to hover around Fewell and the defensive coaches to help send signals into the defence
  4. We need this legal distraction like we need a hole in the head
  5. Definitely, my choice as well Manchester United would be a close #2
  6. Will the Bills be the "surprise team" like the Dolphins were predicted to go to the Superbowl by Sports Illustrated in 2006???
  7. totally agree. this sourpuss from new hampshire just won't let go of his conspiracy theory spin. guess it's the looney granola eaters out there that are getting to him
  8. Incorrect. In calling the Bills ticket office, they confirmed that they are working with Rogers Centre to resolve the issue. The issue is a software programming screw-up (again) at Ticketmaster. Your conspiracy theories continue unabated, yet you have no evidence to back up any of your hysterical claims
  9. Kind of a stupid poll and a biased one as well ... as the poster lists 4 of the 8 options as QB options. Can we get some sober-headed balance please?
  10. Beware folks and don't get taken for a SCAM. The poster could be legit but there's always a risk in executing a transaction ($$$ for password) like this online ....
  11. You raised the same conspiracy theory in your other post. If you've got some evidence to back it up, we'd love to hear it. If you've used Ticketmaster before, you will know that this sort of botched effort at selling tickets to an event from the opening gun is par for the course for this monopolistic company
  12. No, I don't think Rogers is "blocking Bills fans deliberately" It's yet another case of master monopolist -- and serially mismanaged -- Ticketmaster botching the sale of tickets for yet another event With no competition and no other options we're at the mercy of Ticketmaster .... again. And as usual, they're customer service lines are busy and once you get through, you're in voice-response-system hell
  13. The Bills never "sold" your email address. By specifying interest in tickets to the Toronto games thru the Bills website, you agreed to have your email address provided to Rogers Centre for the purpose of contacting you. If you don't like the way the tickets are packaged or priced -- and I don't either -- it's your right as a consumer NOT to buy them.
  14. So we get more rocket science from the gurus on pro football analysis: ESPN. Quantity of "Bad decisions" divided by "Decisions" = Bad Decision Percentage But the numerator "Bad decisions" is a highly subjective notion. What are the criteria that go into determining a "Bad decision"? And who makes the determination? Me thinks the lull before the draft, post the free agency period, is causing writers to push the boundaries a bit in what they're writing. So we get this article in the week before the draft, after which the beat writers will spend 90% of their time analyzing team picks for weeks after the draft.
  15. If you didn't link to the actual full-page ad / letter in the article, here it is: http://www.tennessean.com/assets/pdf/DN70431419.PDF
  16. If only we could have drafted him instead of Willis BabyFactory. TD: #$%^@#$%!!!
  17. It's almost as if they've been sitting on the story until days before the draft in order to maximize exposure.
  18. I'm already planning a vacation day for the Tuesday, given the 2.5 hour drive home after the game (and that's not even counting the time to get out of the Stadium-area parking lots and traffic)
  19. I hope you're wrong. But we'll all be cheering the Bills hard in '07. I just confirmed my season's tickets for '07 Go Bills!
  20. Let's pound our opponents' players hard. Let's wish our competitors lose as many games as possible. But let us never wish injury on any NFL player, ever, regardless of the circumstances. A career in this league is enough of a pounding on a player and a recipe for arthritis, back problems, etc., over a lifetime.
  21. Young strikes me as more athletic. And he exuded leadership in those come-back wins last year.
  22. Glad consensus among poll respondents is to play to win. The objective of 60 minutes of play 16 times a year is to win, not play some chess game to jockey for a better draft position.
  23. If only Willis McGahee could learn manners from people like Al Wilson.
  24. And Brian Urlacher too, please, pretty please (and he can drink Vitaminwater instead of tap water from Lake Ontario if he wishes too)
