Troup outplayed all the NTs taken ahead of him. You guys act like every single Dlineman taken should be Suh in their rookie seasons.

Donte is entering his prime and is only getting better. I would say that his value on the open market is around $6 million a year.
-
He wasn't even suppose to run the ball on his 40 yard TD run. He was suppose to hand the ball off to his back, but he thought they were running a different play.

Leonhard is nothing more than a fringe starter. He's a very smart player, but he doesn't have the size to match up with more physical receivers. I would want the guy on my team, but it's not like we are missing out on anything special.

Let's not forget that Whitner is still only 25 years old. He hasn't even reached his peak as an athlete yet, and it's not a surprise he continues to improve.

Daniel Ellsberg should be arrested and executed, his release of the pentagon papers makes him a terrorist!

http://espn.go.com/blog/afceast/post/_/id/22540/kyle-williams-in-position-for-pro-bowl Those are eye popping numbers. 5 sacks and 13 TFL? Can anyone say dominant?
-
So the fact that Williams is receiving all pro buzz around the league means nothing? Kyle Williams is a top 5 tackle in the NFL. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=9720 http://insider.espn.go.com/nfl/insider/news/story?id=5863622 http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/columns/story?columnist=chadiha_jeffri&page=hotread11/Haloti%20Ngata

Kyle will get in because of the players and coaches.

Being a Black QB; It Must be Tough
Fingon replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's common sense Vick was lying? Are you !@#$ing kidding me? Who the hell are you to say that you have some magical insight into his life? You don't, you have no god damn idea what Vick does with his time. If Vick says that he spent all his time on dog fighting, then I will believe him. If he says he is a reformed man, then I will believe him. If you want to call me an idiot that's fine, but I still possess mental faculties far beyond your own. You have offered nothing to this conversation other than "Durr... I say Vick is lying because it's the truth." Guess what, If Vick says he almost completely disregarded film study, then who are you to refute that? Just because he isn't throwing his team mates under the bus doesn't mean he is lying. You want to know the facts of it? Vick is trying more than ever because he HAS to. If he fails, he goes back to owing his creditors millions. You don't think that's a strong incentive to work hard? Your entire argument is based upon the fallacy that because he says the right things, then he must be lying. Is it conceivable that he is lying? Sure, but his words carry far more weight than your useless speculation. I also enjoyed your little interjection that you work with NFL athletes. Yeah, and I'm secretly Bill Gates. It is meaningless drivel to assert you have some inside knowledge, when you will undoubtedly hide behind your anonymity. Nice arguing skills Dawgg, I'm not sure how many more fallacies can possibly be spewed in such a short post. And for the record, Vick had a very strong running game and a top 5 TE when he was in Atlanta. -

I'd like to see you call Dr. Bill Cosby ignorant for having the same sentiments. Ah yes, because it doesn't fit your argument then he must be lying. He expressly said that dog fighting dominated almost all of his free time. Your opinion means nothing on the subject. Who should we believe, some random guy on the internet, or Vick himself? You have absolutely nothing to refute his statement other than conjecture. -
Fitzpatrick is the new Jay Fiedler

I don't get this thread. Fitz has 2 less TDs in, 8 games, than Fiedler ever had in his best year. -

Actually, Michael Vick would disagree with you. I was watching OTLs on ESPN yesterday, and Vick attributed his resurgence to actually working hard. He explained that in Atlanta he used to spend most of his free time on dog fighting, and not on watching film. -

Blue, I live in the real world. No white man is stopping a black child from doing his homework and graduating from high school, and no white man is causing a black father to abandon his child. You can B word all you want about institutionalized racism, but it doesn't dominate the system anymore. No one is stopping black people from voting anymore, no one is stopping black children from attending white schools. But hey, crutches are awesome! -

Fingon replied to Rob's House's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The only problem with the race crutch argument is that systematic racism has been all but eliminated a long time ago. Education and the free flow of information has decreased racism to a point that it is almost exclusively the domain of the older generations. Bill Cosby has spoken about this many times, and I would be inclined to agree with him. There is absolutely no reason why other racial minorities (asians) should be having such great success, while others wallow in poverty. Racism is still around, but it did not prevent Obama from becoming president, nor did it prevent Michael Steele from becoming the leader of the Republican party. If racial minorities want a crutch, blame the terrible inner-city schools, not the white man. -
Scouts Inc.: Best DTs Who are the best "space-eaters" in the NFL? Scouts Inc.'s Matt Williamson names his top five. 1. Haloti Ngata, Ravens: He is like no other player I have seen. People with his amazing size just shouldn't move like him. He's incredibly powerful. It doesn't matter the scheme, Ngata can excel at any position on the defensive line -- and can also play from a two-point stance or as a goal-line fullback. He is very special ... and getting better. 2. Kevin Williams, Vikings: Not as dynamic as he once was getting after quarterbacks, Williams remains a very difficult player to move in the run game. He makes all of those around him better and has been atop this list now for some time. Consistent, durable and reliable, Williams should be a future Hall of Famer -- even though he has never gotten the credit he deserves. 3. Jason Jones, Titans: Jones might be the best pass-rushing interior lineman in the league. The Titans are great at rotating in a lot of defensive linemen, but Jones has emerged as the clear-cut best of the bunch. 4. Kyle Williams, Bills: A terror versus the run, Kyle Williams is also a very good player against the pass. He's having an amazing season on a terrible football team. Get to know this player. 5. Vince Wilfork, Patriots: Wilfork is a one-trick pony as a run-stuffer. But he is simply magnificent at it. Bill Belichick has moved Wilfork around more this season, playing him some at defensive end to entice the opponent to run in Wilfork's direction ... but that is never a good idea. Also: Shaun Rogers, Browns; Jonathan Babineaux, Falcons.

What does any of this have to do with anything? I'm completely aware of the difference between prejudice and racism. Racism among racial minorities is not only real, but prevalent. Not to mention, I fail to see how minorities hating another race is not racism, as they clearly think they are superior if they have such disdain for white people. But hey, It's ok to hate white people, as long as you blame the mythical "white man" that is holding you back. -

So bigotry only matters if you're white? -
I would be happy with those first two picks. Quinn seems to be the best OLB prospect this year.

So, saying blacks aren't smart enough to play QB is racist, but saying they are far superior athletes to whites is not? -
Leach has to prove that there was "actual malice" on ESPNs part, something that is extremely hard to do. I don't see this lawsuit going anywhere.
