TEBOW!!! is a Jet! (finally)
Fingon replied to Buffalo Barbarian's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Does anyone really think he will succeed long term? He was 3rd string behind Brady Quinn, and they are only playing him to see if they need to draft a QB next year. If the regime truly believed in him they would let him sit until he is ready. -

Unless he can throw it out of the pocket with regularity, he will be a failure. -
Accused death row inmate Troy Davis is denied clemency

Because Christianity is a religion of death, not life. "He who has not sinned may cast the first stone" was added around 300 AD, and the bible is full of divine sanctioned murder. God ordering genocide? check. Elisha summoning bears to murder children for mocking his baldness? check The old testament is an extremely disturbing book. -
What? Dance with Dragons got the best reviews of any book in the series. It is widely considered the best book of the series.

HIPAA doesn't apply to NFL players. The NFLPA has an agreement with the NFL that lets teams disclose whatever a player has. If they didn't, you would never know what a player is injured with.

Name something and I can guarantee you someone somewhere is negatively affected by it. It may not be funny to you, but it is a long running joke on the TV show House.

And Crowell never did anything again because of his knee.

Sounds like he has a serious illness. I hope it is nothing life threatening, and I wish him a quick recovery.

It's because almost 1 out of every 4 completions was a TD for fitz.

I think Monday night just goes to show you how bad the Pats and Phins are at CB and S.

Police attempt to murder man, no charges filed against them
Fingon replied to Fingon's topic in Off the Wall Archives
It's pretty clear that the female cop intended the suspect to at least be shot. Why else would she send his van into troopers advancing on the car on foot? The only reason he was shot was because the van was moving at the officers. Combined with the fact that the officer had personal issues with the suspect, it's plain as day that she at least desired to see him shot. Not to mention the DA said opted not to pursue charges against the officer, and the victim is still being charged with trying to run from the police, I really don't see any justice coming from this. -

It's clearly attempted murder. What did the cop ramming him think was going to happen? She has a clear motive against the "suspect", and clearly lied about what happened. She knew that the man was going to be shot. -

Because they were trying to cover it up as if he was trying to kill them with his vehicle. Let's see, they push his car forward, claim he is trying to kill him, and shoot him twice... does that seem right to you? The only reason he was shot was because of the officer behind him ramming his van into the rest of the vehicles. The only reason this guy isn't facing life in jail is because there is a video that shows the complete opposite of what the police said happened. It was obviously the officer driving the pick up's intent to have the man shot. She was investigating him for crimes against he husband, and then lied saying that it was him that drove forward. -

Except the only reason the vehicle was moving was because the cops were pushing it. The officer pushing his car had a personal vendetta against the suspect, and it is clear what she was doing. She is clearly shown lying about the incident before the video came out. -
http://www.clickorlando.com/news/29019754/detail.html How the hell aren't these officers fired and charged with attempted murder and unlawful discharge of a firearm? No wonder cops have a reputation slightly above those they chase. There is no accountability in our nation's police forces. Absolutely insane.

Ugh, Barber is an idiot, but so are the people overreacting about his comments. If only people would just shut up about the Holocaust, maybe people would stop mentioning it. It's reached the same point as breast cancer, everyone is aware of it. No one knows who Shiro Ishii is, but I had to learn about the holocaust every single year of school. I wonder if these people realize that they are devaluing the tragedy simply by cramming it down everyone's throat every five minutes.

Meh... Anyone under 25 simply streams whatever they want to watch; there are an endless number of sites that offer an HD (at the very least DVD quality) version of your favorite TV shows the day after they air. This service is going nowhere until the studios realize that restricting access to content is what drives people to bypass them all together. I don't want to have to sit through four unskippable trailers before I watch a DVD, and it frustrates me to hell that most TV shows aren't available on demand right after they air. Oh, I can't get this movie on Netflix for 30 days? I'll just go to icefilms and watch/download it now. I'm fine with paying for content (I have a netflix subscription), but it's just stupid that free sites offer a better customer experience than ones you pay for. This service will fail, just like all the rest.

So how many of you guys are going to get sued?
Fingon replied to /dev/null's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Law suits like this are a dying breed. Judges are starting to realize that IP addresses are not people, and it's simply impossible to prove who downloaded what. Besides, everyone streams their porn now anyways... -

N. M. State Police officer caught with his pants down

New Hampshire: http://www.eagletribune.com/newhampshire/x1876416971/Lawmakers-Public-urination-shouldnt-lead-to-sex-offender-status Oklahoma: http://www.usatoday.com/news/nation/2007-02-25-sex-offender-laws-cover_x.htm Missouri: http://www.ksdk.com/news/local/story.aspx?storyid=227852&catid=3 That's just a quick google search. Human Rights watch has it at around 32 states requiring registration for it. -

That's incorrect. People are put on the sex offender registry for urinating in public. -
Could Andre Gurode Help our O-Line?
Fingon replied to Matt in KC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
On the flip side... it gets annoying that every time a position is manned by a young player, we get 10000 threads about signing some guy who has 1 year left to start. -

Fingon replied to Matt in KC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yes, lets sign Gurode and plug him in as center. It would be awesome to move Wood back to RG, when he has spent the entire off season playing C. Not to mention it would be great for Urbik's development to sit on the bench. Come to think of it, we should sign TO as well. We can't have a scrub like Marcus Easley in the line up.
