Being a "good" 3-6 team may not matter to fans, but you bet your ass it does to GMs. General mangers grade each player individually. They don't go "Wow they're 3-6, every player must suck." There is quite a lot of talent on this team and only a delusional person can't see it.

Its a good play call if the guy is open. Graham was open. Stevie was wide open on the pick 6.

Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended
Fingon replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wonder if we could see criminal charges against Incognito. He very clearly harasses Martin and he also very clearly threatens to kill him. -
Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended

Both Martin's parents are Harvard educated lawyers, so they might just be the best people to show the evidence to. -
Jags WR Justin Blackmon Suspended Indefinitely

Drunk people are stupid. The NFL should just have a sober guy follow around each player to make decisions for them. -

Alcohol addiction? This is the NFL, where you are free to drink yourself into oblivion. It's also a league where you can become a pill head because your team doctor hands them out like its Halloween. But don't you dare smoke that joint that's legal in 20 states. -
Most people won't be able to tell the difference? That's laughable. 720p vs 1080p is 900k pixels vs 2.3 million. To get the same picture you would have to have a 40 inch TV for the Xbone and a 100 inch TV for a PS4. If no one can tell the difference, why even try for better graphics? The fact is that the Xbone is a gimped system. It's just a simple as that. So yeah, get an Xbone if you enjoy lots of jagged lines and terrible lighting. Also, CD and MP3 support can be patched in. Microsoft can't make their shitbox's hardware any better. Not to mention you pay $100 more for incredibly inferior graphics.

It starts already. The next COD will have 2.5x the resolution on the PS4 as it will on the Xbone. http://www.theverge.com/2013/10/30/5047710/call-of-duty-ghosts-on-xbox-one-will-only-run-at-720p

Jonathan Martin AWOL, Incognito suspended
Fingon replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't know about that. From what I've read, it seems a lot of harassment was documented on Hard Knocks. Martin may not have evidence for all his claims (if something does happen), but the video is enough for a preponderance of evidence in his favor. -

This situation makes me wonder if the Dolphins could be in some sort of legal trouble. I don't think anyone can deny that Martin was in a hostile work environment. -

Why are we even talking about this? The only way the Pats let him go is if he continues to be injury prone. His back has been !@#$ed up since college. I'll pass.

Anyone interested in Tony Scheffler/Isaac Redman?
Fingon replied to Solomon Grundy's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Lee Smith is a blocking TE, while Scheffler is basically a WR. If this were 3 years ago, I would probably say yes. It doesn't really make sense now, neither would be an upgrade over Chandler. I think the Bills will look for a power forward type TE in the draft. -
texans release 3 rookies for incident in hotel over weekend
Fingon replied to NoSaint's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm betting the next CBA removes testing for marijuana. Too many guys do it, and with it's legal status rapidly changing it doesn't make sense to test for it. It sucks for these guys, but then again it probably sucked to be arrested for bootlegging the day before prohibition was repealed. -
Jets fan Punches a female Pats fan
Fingon replied to Homey D. Clown's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
What a non-story. The only reason people are talking about this is because a woman got hit in the face. Fights happen. I feel like captain hindsight saying "if you didn't want to get punched in the face, you shouldn't have attacked someone." I mean, are we suppose to feel sorry for her just because she's a woman? She's probably an even bigger POS than the Jets fan. Men who do what she did end up bleeding on the ground or in jail. -
LB Nigel Bradham Charged with Majijuana Possesion
Fingon replied to brucethomas34's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone notice that Florio reset the "Days without an Arrest" counter? Bradham didn't even get arrested. Does he reset it every time a player gets a parking ticket (which is the equivalent of what Bradham is being charged with)? -
Stop And Frisk Unconstitutional
Fingon replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
You mean stopping and searching people just because they're black isn't constitutional? Who woulda thunk it? -
It should be Killer Whale Week. Great Whites are food for those things. Not to mention they played a part in the extinction of Megalodon.

A lot of people are saying the Martin family will collect a huge settlement in court. My question is, where is the evidence? There is incredibly little, if any at ll, that GZ started the conflict or did not act in self defense. I know in civil court conviction is by the preponderance of evidence. The problem i see is that how can you say 51%-49% that GZ is liable if the evidence is overwhelmingly pro-GZ? It happened to OJ, but the two cases aren't even comparable.

Patriots' Hernandez arrested in homicide investigation
Fingon replied to Golden Wheels's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The problem that I see is that the cops have to prove there was evidence on his phone or in the security system. It's not illegal to destroy your own stuff. -
Except the Xbone uses 5 GBs of RAM for games, while the PS4 uses 7 GB. The Xbone has 768 GPU cores, while the PS4 has 1152, or 50% more. Only an idiot would claim the Xbone will be as good graphically. Here's a quote from the link that someone posted "Microsoft can’t make up the difference in clock speed alone (AMD’s GCN seems to top out around 1GHz on 28nm), and based on current leaks it looks like both MS and Sony are running their GPUs at the same 800MHz clock. The result is a 33% reduction in compute power, from 1.84 TFLOPs in the PS4 to 1.23 TFLOPs in the Xbox One. We’re still talking about over 5x the peak theoretical shader performance of the Xbox 360, likely even more given increases in efficiency thanks to AMD’s scalar GCN architecture (MS quotes up to 8x better GPU performance) - but there’s no escaping the fact that Microsoft has given the Xbox One less GPU hardware than Sony gave the PlayStation 4. Note that unlike the Xbox 360 vs. PS3 era, Sony's hardware advantage here won't need any clever developer work to extract - the architectures are near identical, Sony just has more resources available to use. Gee, I wonder what makes the biggest difference in rendering graphics? Oh I don't know, maybe the GRAPHICAL PROCESSING UNIT.

The problem with using the cloud for video games is that the latency is so high that you're probably better off just using the console to do it. There may be certain things where lag isn't an issue, but anything graphical will absolutely not be done through MS's servers. If everyone had google fiber it might be useful, but US broadband speeds are absolutely **** compared to the rest of the world. The PS4 is simply the more powerful machine, and any talk of cloud computing for the Xbone is designed to distract you from inferior specs and a higher price.

Steam is a digital marketplace that offers absurd deals on games. They do this because its just a easy to pirate a game. Consoles are generally pretty hard to use pirated games on (you have to physically install a mod chip). The way things are now, its generally MORE expensive to buy a digital version of a game over Xbox live than it is to buy in store. PS+ is a little different in that they give you a discount for having the premium service, but games are still nowhere near the price of steam. I really, really don't see this changing. Why would they? There aren't any alternatives (pirating) to buying the game from MS or an approved retailer. Also, I'm pretty sure that "family" member will only be able to play that game if no one else is currently using it. That's how steam handles it, and i expect no difference from MS. So good luck "sharing" when you'll only be able to play when 1 of those 10 other people isnt.

NSA whistle-blower’s girlfriend abandoned
Fingon replied to BillsWatch's topic in Off the Wall Archives
He made the right decision to leave her. When this guy is captured, tortured, and executed she will be very thankful she was left behind.
