What a difference that that 20 years (and alcohol) make
Fingon replied to \GoBillsInDallas/'s topic in Off the Wall Archives
No, that's what alcohol, 20 years, and bad plastic surgery looks like. -
Goodell makes 44 Million for this.
Fingon replied to oman128's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
It's called 32 people willing to pay that. -
Yes it is. Hackett can't run the offense, be QB coach, AND teach WRs techniques.

Bills Introduce New Assistant Coaches
Fingon replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Anyone catch the shot Downing took at Stafford? He said some guys reach a level and don't want to work to get better (Stafford). -
Pepper Johnson to Bills Staff as D-Line coach
Fingon replied to BRAWNDO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Well duh. It can't be easy to prepare for the best D-line in football, especially when you have a statue for a QB. Not to mention the 2nd best secondary in the NFL. -
NO!!! A good O coordinator would have had the Bills top 10 in every statistical category regardless of the players!!!!! /s

Cuomo appointees to explore new Bills Stadium
Fingon replied to uncle flap's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Cuomo has to throw Western NY a bone. Paladino showed that WNY has at least some political relevancy. -
Michael Sam's problem isn't that he's gay, it's that he's a tweener. He would be undersized as a 4-3 DE and may or may not have the quickness to transition to OLB. He reminds me a lot of Antonio Coleman actually. His 40 time and agility drill scores could either make or break him.

It's more of a PR stunt than anything. Unless you are in the substance abuse program you are tested once in the beginning of the year. The tests aren't even random, as players know when and where they will occur. So, in order to not get caught all you have to do is not smoke for a month or so out of the year.

Per Bills text Rob Moore hired as WR coach
Fingon replied to Beerball's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The Bills essentially have two WR coaches on staff, one inexperienced and one very experienced. -
Is this thread really here? Guess what? All religion is bull ****. Read the Old Testament and you'll find just as !@#$ed up stuff as you will in the Koran. Do we put our children to death for disobeying their parents? No, but the Bible says we should. Should we execute someone for having sex with a woman on her period? No, but the Bible says we should. Jews would be the most !@#$ed up people alive if they followed the Torah word for word. How about god sending bears to maul children to death for making fun of a bald prophet? (even though it says in the Bible baldness is cause by wickedness) Your religion is just as ****ty as the rest (except Sikhs).

Phillip Seymour Hoffman dead of drug overdose
Fingon replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Actually Chef, your ignorance is in full force here. Abstaining from opiates for a long time and then relapsing is perhaps the largest cause of ODs. It's perfectly plausible that he was indeed clean for 23 years. -
Phillip Seymour Hoffman dead of drug overdose
Fingon replied to The Poojer's topic in Off the Wall Archives
Heroin is making a comeback because doctors hand it out in pill form like it's candy. They get people hooked on pain meds, and then the addicts realize they can get the same fix for $10 instead of spending $300 on a single pill. The only solution is legalization and regulation. People have been doing opiates since before the Roman empire. If anyone thinks they can even dent the opiate trade they are a fool. That leaves harm reduction as the only viable tool. -
That recipe is definitely not the world's best wings. They don't even double fry them. If I wanted some soggy wings I would just bake them.

Pepper Johnson to Bills Staff as D-Line coach
Fingon replied to BRAWNDO's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He's a very good 2 down thumper. However, he is a huge liability in coverage. -

I'd imagine it went down like this: "Hey want to come coach 3 pro-bowlers and 10 sack DE?" Pepper: "Sure" -
Obama Tacitly Endorses Legalization of Pot
Fingon replied to Trump_is_Mentally_fit's topic in Politics, Polls, and Pundits
Fixed that for you. Hahahaha. They're poor because of many reasons. Some cultural reasons and others institutional. The value of hard work only gets you so far when: 1.) you're named Desquarius 2.) the inner city school you go to receives most of its budget from local property taxes 3.) you grew up without a father 4.) a lot of your friends make more money selling drugs than your parents do working legitimate jobs 5.) You are far more likely to get arrested for the same crimes that other races commit. Now, Imagine the average person you know. Do you really think they are smart/capable enough to overcome those hurdles? -
No idea about Bowman but per ESPN its for Willis.

Paul Posluszny made it as well. He's replacing Willis.

Smoking pot = victim-less crime Running a stop sign = possible victim The Federal government has no business dictating what consenting adults do with their own bodies. -
I love watching Lil Donte Whitner get exposed
Fingon replied to Estelle Getty's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If you can't throw from the pocket you're not a good QB. It's as simple as that. Would I take Kaepernick? Yes, but I'd still be trying to replace him. He has to improve his throwing drastically or he'll end up as an IR causality. Am I trying to replace Aaron Williams? No. Would I take Dez Bryant? No, because I don't think Ralph is the type of guy to hire handlers to follow him around all the time. I wouldn't take Lynch either because Fred Jackson is the better overall player. The Bills need a classic pocket passer in the 2nd-4th rounds this year. Not another guy who can run the ball but struggles when he has to stand tall in the pocket. -
Byrd is better than Thomas, IMO. The NFL hasn't seen a free safety with Byrd's ability to create turnovers since Ed Reed. Byrd's first 5 years: 22 INT 11 forced fumbles Reed's first 5 years: 27 INT 5 forced fumbles Byrd has the same number of forced fumbles as Ed Reed has in his entire career (11). http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/3552/ed-reed http://espn.go.com/nfl/player/stats/_/id/12613/jairus-byrd

Kaepernick has yet to show that he's even a good player. If you contain him in the pocket he's at his absolute worst. Also, I don't think Dez Bryant would even be good in Buffalo. Half the reason he's even in the NFL is because Jerry Jones spends a lot of money making sure Bryant is controlled off the field. I honestly don't think he would have near the support structure that he has in Dallas if he were here. Lynch created his own hole here. We drafted Spiller because of how awful Marshawn was in 2009. As far as Whitner goes, he was always an average player. Look no further than Seattle to see what two very good safeties can do. -
The next great QB rivalry: Wilson vs. Kaepernick
Fingon replied to filthymcnasty08's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Probably a fair assertion, but Whaley hasn't even ran a draft yet, so I wouldn't say either way.
