Fred Jackson will be a Bill as long as he remains productive. His leadership, blocking, receiving, vision, balance, and toughness are off the charts. Fred still averaged 4.3 yards per carry for nearly 900 rushing yards last year, and with (hopefully) an improved line that should only increase.

Lawson played at the end of the line with his hand on the ground last year. That sounds like playing DE to me. The Bills called him an OLB last year, but we really played a lot of 5-2 with Lawson right up at the line.

Colts Owner Jim Irsay Charged with Two Misdemeanors
Fingon replied to 26CornerBlitz's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I'm pretty sure that if Goodell applies the same standard to Irsay as he does the players, then Irsay will get off with just a warning. I don't know if Irsay has any other arrests/convictions but players are usually not suspended after their first arrest. edit: drinking and driving is 2 games. He'll get at least that. -
Senators Urge N.F.L. to Act on Redskins’ Name

I think the NFL should change the names of every franchise to a racial slur. It would create some pretty good rivalries. -
Bortles/Manziel targets of bizarre lawsuits

Not nearly as good as the Johnny Football lawsuit. -
[please fix subject]where is PFT?

How about this? From Tim Graham's twitter: I'm told a Toronto-based group interested in buying the Bills is reconsidering because moving might be too difficult. -
It's a shame that the Ralph won't have a team regularly playing in it within a decade. It's actually starting to look nice with all the work they are putting into it.

This lawsuit is why the NFL shouldn't test for marijuana. Handing out prescription pills to your players opens you up to liability, and taking weed off the banned substance list doesn't. These players need some way to relieve their pain, and addictive opiates aren't the answer.

Don Esmonde article about new ownership

The votes aren't even there for the team to move. This team will remain the Buffalo Bills. http://www.buffalonews.com/sports/bills-nfl/nfl-owners-say-votes-arent-there-for-moving-the-bills-20140520?two-bills-drive -
Vegas has released their win total projections...
Fingon replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The teams with the highest odds are the teams that the public expects to be good this year. Vegas may think the Browns will win 9 games this year, but if they can't get equal bettors on both sides the line won't be 9 games. Lines don't move because the line-setters suddenly get new info on a team and change their minds, they move because the bets are coming in favoring one side over the other. -
Vegas has released their win total projections...
Fingon replied to Kipers Hair's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I don't put much stock in Vegas lines. They aren't really projections of what they think will happen, but merely the points that they expect 50 percent of the public will bet on the over and 50 on the under. There's a reason lines move as people bet on one outcome significantly more than the other. -
RD5, Pick #153: OG Cyril Richardson - Baylor University

From what Marrone said in his rookie mini-camp press conference, I would say that Levitre is almost the exact opposite of the type of guard they are looking for. The Bills want large, powerful run blockers while Levitre is more of a 2nd level finesse player. Andy was a phenomenal pass blocker and that's one area these big guys might not be so great in. -
Exactly, if Edelman is in the slot the Bills will keep Robey there all day. If NE puts Gronk in the slot the Bills would then put Graham on him or like you said rotate Gilmore on him.
-
I think they like Robey but want some corners with length to cover the bigger receivers. Robey is a pure slot corner and if one of our outside guys gets hurt he can't slide over. The Bills also needed a guy to rotate Robey out for when the other team puts a big WR or TE in the slot.

You probably can't even go after the source anyway since merely posting the password for the public to see isn't convictable.
-
Lawson is going to play DE and Corey Graham will be the starting FS. Rivers will be at OLB. They don't even have the right lineup.

Lol the Cops are investigating.

Cocaine is still used medicinally as is Methamphetamine. As far as I know the NFL can't restrict their use if prescribed by a Doctor. The difference with marijuana is that it's illegal federally and cannot be legally prescribed. Think about that for a second, you can get cocaine and meth from your doctor.

I think he's referring to the fact that the NFL loses its star players to suspensions for a drug that isn't very harmful and isn't performance enhancing. There is no benefit to the owners to not have these guys on the field, so they are essentially shooting themselves in the foot by having the rule. The NBA found that lesson out a long time ago.

Kiper gives Bills low marks in draft
Fingon replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The most baffling part of this is the D+ for needs. I'm not sure how anyone who knows anything about this roster could reach that conclusion. -
when does the Spiller trade happen?
Fingon replied to maryland-bills-fan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Spiller has a career yards per carry of 5.1. Do you even realize how insane that is? If Spiller can maintain that YPC for 150 more rushes he could retire and be 3rd ALL-TIME in yards per carry among RB. We are talking about a player who rushed for 1250 yards on 6.0 YPC here. Even on his down year last year he had 900 yards with 4.6 yards per carry. Let's put this in perspective. Marshawn Lynch has had exactly one season in his entire career with a yards per carry over 4.2. Spiller may not be a 30 touch back, but when he's at his best he's a 1000+ yard 6.0 YPC RB. There are very, very few players that can say that. I'm perfectly OK splitting touches between two backs if one of them is averaging 5+ YPC. -
We have gone this far, now complete the job.

Right. 2nd round picks aren't really a thing and Cordy Glenn and Kiko Alonso don't really exist.
