New Draft Trade Chart
bisonbrigade replied to In space no one can hear's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
HERES A TRADE BUFFALO GETS THE (1ST)17TH, (2ND)49TH AND (3RD)81ST PICKS FROM MINNESOTA. =1665 POINTS MINNESOTA GETS THE (1ST)11TH, (3RD)75 TH PICK AND (4TH)107TH PICK.= 1615 POINTS THEN THE BILLS WOULD HAVE ONE 1ST, TWO 2ND, ONE 3RD, ONE FORTH ROUND PICK. -
There are many ways to get a WR. Draft, trade and Free agency. A real good receiving TE would be just as good as a reciever. I am not against Thomas, just not with the 11th pick. He is not worth that slot.

Best option now that no WR is worth #11

One of the top 10 players in the draft always slips in the draft. Whoever he is take him. -
Wide receiver is probably one of the Bills biggest needs. That being said I don't think they should reach for one in the 1st, 2nd or 3rd round. If there is one sitting at there draft spot that has value for that slot, then take him. If there isn't don't press the matter. After the draft there is always the 2nd line of free agency or trade. I don't think there is a WR worth taking with the 11th pick. If Kelly, Thomas, Sweed, Jackson or Manningham are gone in round 2 I would'nt take anyone else either. Hardy is a punk and I wouldn't draft him round 7.

What is your top five players that you would pick with the 12th pick. here's mine. 1. RB Adrian Peterson 2. DT Amobi Okoye 3. RB Marshawn Lynch 4. ILB Patrick Willis 5. CB Leon Hall
-
Lindy's Profootball draft book says that Lynch works hard in the training room and takes to hard coaching. Highly respected by teammates and coaches because of his attitude. Sounds good if it is true.
-
Here's a guess. 1ST Round -RB Marshawn Lynch or Adrian Peterson. I doubt Peterson will fall but if he slides past Cleveland there's a slim chance. Everybody wants defense first but who going to score TD's besides Evans. One great RB will do wonders for the team, JP, and the defense. 2ND Round- CB Daymeion Hughes or Marcus McCauley. 3RD Round- OLB Tim Shaw or ILB Justin Durant. This depends on where Crowel plays this year. 3RD Round- DT Justin Harrell or Paul Soliai. Big Dudes to stop the run. 4TH Round- The best player who slides from day one. Any position except QB-K-P.

Who's left to trade Willis to? Cleveland, maybe I think they will take Braddy Quinn in the draft. NY Giants, I don't think so they would of traded already. GreenBay, since they lost Green maybe. Raiders, this could happen, but I doubt it. Detriot, I don't think so. Baltimore, I think they will resign Jamal Lewis. Tennessee, No they have Lendale White. What do you think?
-
If Braddy Quinn falls to the Bills pick, I would not take him, I am sold on Losman. I was wondering what team do you think would trade up to pick him and what the Bills could get. I was thinking maybe Carolina for there 1st and 2nd picks.

Bills actively shopping McGahee per ESPN.
bisonbrigade replied to CJPearl2's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
After next year Willis won't be here anyhow, His contract will expire and the Bills wont resign him. So you might as well trade him while you get get something for him. The same people who say it is stupid to trade him next year will complain that you let him go for nothing. I think he is an OK back that got away with pure phyiscal talent in college, but has no feel for the game. Route running, antisapating the hole and moves are lacking in his game. -
I think the Bills should sign FA offensive lineman and draft defensive players. Rookie offensive lineman rarely make a impact, if they pan out at all. With vets you know wwhat you get. The Bills should sign a OG and draft backups in the second day of the draft. The first day they should draft all defense. If possible the Bills should trade down to pick up an extra first day pick. Then pick no particlular order, CB, LB and DT. If they trade down the Bills could pick up a RB.

If Okoye is gone the Bills should trade out
bisonbrigade replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I agree. #1choice. Would be to draft Okoye. #2choice. Trade down, if the Bills trade down four spots to 16, it is worth an extra 3rd round pick. According to the draft formula. #3. Choice. Best available player reguardless of position, only if there is no trades for at least a 3rd round pick. -
Kevin Jones will miss at least half of 2007 with an injury. It would be great if the Bills could trade Willis McGahee to the Lions for there 2nd round pick(34th) this year. I would even take there 3rd round pick (66th). What do you think.

Thurman Thomas VS. Willie McGahee
bisonbrigade replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Its not a "waste" to pick a running back if he is better than Willis. Its sad when a million dollar running back cannot afford a two dollar condom. -
Thurman Thomas VS. Willie McGahee
bisonbrigade replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Willis wont be here in 2008, he is a baby machine, he cannot find the hole, and the Bills could get an early 2nd round pick for him. Maybe from the Teaxans. Why not trade him while you can and get someone who can be great. Why keep someone becausse there OK. You need great players to Win a Superbowl, not OK players. One Great back could the Bills over the top. Why not be great, not just OK or good. -
Thurman Thomas VS. Willie McGahee

Exactly. The Bills need a running back who has a feel for the game. -

you guys" was aimed at everyone calling for Lynch that are so sure he's going to be some all-pro Back. i aint buying it. Neither is Willie McGahee. Hide your daughters they may become pregnant. -
Thurman Thomas VS. Willie McGahee
bisonbrigade replied to bisonbrigade's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My point was not that Marshawn Lynch was like Thurman Thomas, but McGahee is not Thurman Thomas. McGahee had his chance to prove that he has the skills to be a good back. He Failed. It's time for someone new. -
What the Bills need is a back like Thurman Thomas. Thurman Thomas was one of the best all around backs in the game. He had a feel, a six sense for the game. Willie McGahee has better pysichal talent, but no feel for the game. He cannot find the hole or make something out of nothing. I would trade him for anything I could get and Draft Marshawn Lynch.
-
Sign Freeagents OGMike Gandy, DE Kris Kelsey, CB Kiawaukee Thomas and DT Cory Redding from Detroit. Trade RB Willis McGahee to Houston for a third round pick. Draft 1ST Round. RB Marshawn Lynch, California Draft 2ND Round. ILB David Harris, Michigan Draft 3RD Round. OG Brian Daniels, Colorado Draft 3RD Round. CB Aaron Ross, Texas

Let's go Colts...Let's go Colts!!!

There is a better chance of Rosie O'Donnell sleeping with a man, then the Colts winning. -
