You cannot judge a QB until he steps on the field. EJ had great athletic ability but could not read a defense or the ability to sense and react on the field. Mahomes had it easy in a spread offense in college. NFL defenses are not watered down like college. Peterman only drawback, which will make or break him, is his pyshical ability. He has the head and heart, we have to see if he has the arm,

Mahomes = Ryan Leaf, Peterman = ???

The plan for 2017 should be to see if, Tyrod, Cardale or Peterman can be a legitimate playoff caliber QB. Winning games is secondary and doubtful. Hopefully one of the three can be that player. If not get a franchise QB in 2018. Give up all your draft picks if you have to but get a franchise QB.
