This is true, if 8 thru the 20 are graded out the same there is no best player available. So you might as well draft a need like OT, CB or WR.

I really think Hairston has a chance to be a good player. That being said at the least the teams needs some depth and someone to challenge Hairston to push him. If a good OT is on the board that should be a priority.

Ryan Fitzpatrick was on fire until London Fletcher jacked up his ribs. You obviously didn't watch the first 7 games last year. Didn't notice when Wood, Jackson and Bell were injured is the same time the offense started to struggle. And you definitely didn't see Bruce n his prime and single handily take over games and dominate the opposing teams offense. I guessed you missed that. You need to lighten up and enjoy the show in 2012.

Those teams didn't "collapse at the end", the Bills overcame the deficit. The Bills were on a role, then injuries hit and the roof caved in. Mario will bring a pass rush which make the whole defense significantly better so those "collapses" will not be necessary. What did Bruce Smith do to help the Bills win Games. Did those 13 sacks a year really accomplish anything?

The AFC East blog predicted Williams would be on Buffalo's wish list weeks ago. The Bills' pass-rush was horrendous last year and Williams can help change that. The biggest issue is can the Bills close this meeting with a contract? Buffalo has the money and cap space to make Williams one of the NFL's highest-paid players. General manager Buddy Nix said the team won't be afraid to spend to the cap this year. But Williams will get plenty of interest. The Bills are a losing franchise and in a city that's not desirable for top NFL free agents. The Bills will try to convince Williams tonight to spend possibly the rest of his career in Buffalo and be part of a rebuilding effort before other teams get to make their pitch.

I keep looking at NFL Mock Drafts and it seems to me nobody stands out as "the Guy" to take with the 10th pick. Couples really doesn't impress. Upshaw is more of a 3-4 guy. Drafting a OT this high is a waste of money. OT's don't win games. Mercilus is a one year wonder. I say try to trade down if you can and load up on pass rushers and WR's.
