As a season ticket holder for the past 6 years, who lost not 1, but 2 !@#$ing home games this year, yes it does. You'd figure they would have at least thrown us a !@#$ing bone for losing 2 games, but no...they gave us the crappiest game of the pre-season and it's against the Detroit Lions! WTF! Way to crap on the season ticket holders even more!
-
Exactly! Plus, it's against the Lions and its the final preseason game which means we wont ever get to see the starters much.
-
It better not be! That's a great show.

Too young to drink?? Nah! I don't remember that. I guess all that beer I legally drank erased that part of my memory.

Thanks Lori! It's okay. kids? I'm not a kid.

Thanks bro! it wasn't just a cough. I also had a fever of 102.5. But it's gone now and I'm starting to feel better. So.... I'll celebrate next weekend and have a few....

Mock Draft that we will all love
Mike32282 replied to Navy Chief Navy Pride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Very good point. The Bills had to make this decision and chose to pay Moulds the money back then. I could definitely see them doing the same thing this time around, even if my numbers are on the low side. I'm betting he will want the money that Javon Walker got, which isn't much higher than what I said, so they will compromise. If they stay far apart on a deal though, I want them to trade him and JP to Detroit for Roy Williams. -
Thanks. Yeah, I'm sorry too. I even had to cancel going to the Sabres/Leafs game last night. Luckily I didn't miss much.

I'm betting they will do everything they can to keep him here, but he will be asking for a contract like this... 6-years for $50 million with $20 million guaranteed. They will then probably say that it's too much for him and will tag him and trade him, like they did with Peerless Price. -
So, what's the real deal with William James?
Mike32282 replied to Mike32282's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That's the main reason why I liked the pickup. It finally gave us a big CB to line up against the big WRs in our division. We usually have small CBs. It's about time that it changed. -

Good post, but I think you have to raise your contract numbers a bit if you want Evans to stay. He'll definitely get more money than Bernard Berrian. He's better. They are the same age, but Lee has much better stats.... Lee Evans 233 receptions, 3727 yards, 16.0 avg, 85 yards longest, 29 TDs Bernard Berrian 150 receptions, 2197 yards, 14.6 avg, 62 yards longest, 13 TDs. This was Berrian's contract.... -
Tamiflu.............anybody ever taken this for the flu?
Mike32282 replied to Stl Bills's topic in Off the Wall Archives
For the record, I have never gotten the flu shot. But I have never been this bad before. My doctor did tell me that the strain that is out there right now is one that even the flu shot isn't preventing. -

Consider yourself lucky. The flu this year is awful. I have never felt so bad. I started feeling sick on Saturday and haven't been to work since Sunday. I have had all the wonderful things that the flu would bring, a fever that won't go away (anywhere from 100.5-102.8 degrees). It has fluctuated all week. Wednesday I was starting to feel better, the chills and aches were gone and so was the fever, but the next morning, I was back up to 102.5 degrees. I also have a very bad cough that hurt that hurts my ribs when I cough and my throat hurts too, plus is filled with lots of crap. My nose won't stop being congested. Oh and today is my birthday. Woo hoo! What a great way to celebrate, home sick with the flu. I have been driving lots of juice, gatorade, eating crackers, and my doctor gave me a couple different cough prescriptions. I also have been taking the tylenol all week, along with sudafed (the stuff that you have to buy from behind the pharmacy counter), and mucinex DM. I have noticed a bit of difference. The fever seems like it is starting to go away and I'm not coughing as much. But overall, this really sucks! -

Now that's more like it. Finally a draft that focuses on our sole need, offense, specifically WR and TE. Plus you also fill our big hole at C and CB. Nice. -

Sorry, I'm not loving this draft. I hate the fact that our offense which is desperate for help continues to get ignored. The truth is, Lee Evans will most likely be traded after the season via a tag and trade, or will sign elsewhere. We also don't have a solid #2 receiver. I do really like the Fred Davis pick. He will be the stud TE we have been missing. But I hate not drafting a WR until round 3 and I'm not sold out Nelson. -

Mike32282 replied to Mike32282's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Could be just the final bonus/additions to the contract that they are trying to hammer down. Hopefully they are just waiting for him to come to Buffalo to join the team in the offseason conditioning. -

Mike32282 replied to Mike32282's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Don't get me wrong, I would like a guy like DRC here. But I really feel that if we want to make this team playoff ready, we have to do something to help the offense. We are desperate for another WR. And let's face it, we probably need 2 as I don't see Lee Evans staying here when the Bills trade JP. -
Is anyone else worried about it? The situation reminds me so much of the Bryant Johnson one. First we brought him in. We liked him and he liked it here. Then a couple days later, it was reported on ESPN and NFL Network and several other places that he signed a contract to join the Buffalo Bills. Yet, nothing was reported anywhere on the Buffalo Bills website. It was never mentioned in the Chris Brown blog and also was not put up as one of the lead stories. Hell, they don't have him on their roster either. So, whats the deal? Is this another one of those false reporting? Was John Clayton wrong, yet everyone else trusted him so they all reported it? I'm sure it's no big deal because he wasn't that good in Philly. But he's better than Youboty IMO and might compete with Greer, plus he makes it so we don't waste a 1st rounder on a CB. What do you guys think?

Thanks for the birthday wishes! I just wish I wasn't sick. This is like the first time ever that I'm sick on my birthday. I'm laying in bed sick with the !@#$ing flu.

You're right. I never noticed that before, but he does look much smaller!

I almost flipped out when I saw that interview. But keep in mind that it was most likely done before the Takeo Spikes trade. -
