  1. I say that many times each season.
  2. I'm glad I only bought the 3 pack. I have a feeling that the final 5 games will be much cheaper and easier to scalp.
  3. I love when you pull into East Rochester and the parking lot guy tells you, sorry the lot is full. Here, drive 10 miles away from here and then you can park in that Pittsford Sutherland lot. That's when I go and park on the side street and walk to the lot. Screw that, I'm not going to drive all the way down to Pittsford Sutherland just because they are an unorganized mess and are using a lot that can fit maybe 100 cars in it.
  4. Honestly, I have been very impressed with him and think that he has outplayed both Trent and JP at different times at camp.
  5. I gotta tell you, I've been more disappointed each year with the training camp. When Wegmans ran it, it was one of the best ones in the league. A merchandise tent full of merchandise, plus a vendor tent that had at least 4 or 5 different food samples, so you could get something to eat. I miss the Zweigles guy, but they replaced the Zweigles hot dogs with Sahlens... I also miss being able to get a drink each day in the tent, plus free popsicles, bison dip with pretzels, milk, all kinds of different snacks. They also got rid of the Xerox booth where they handed out football cards for a few years and then started making sweet posters that were perfect to get signed. The Buffalo Jills are definitely missed as we don't have a nice spot to see them and get a picture taken with a Jill. Like what was said earlier in this thread, the team used to have tons of different sponsors that would give magnets, notebooks, stickers, free Bills Digest magazines, mini footballs and many other things. I don't know why the vendor tent is empty but it's pretty sad. The biggest thing of all is the parking situation. I don't know why Nazareth pulled away, but it was the perfect situation. It's down the street from St John Fisher and also had a lot of room for everyone to park. If we could somehow get this back, it would settle the parking problem at East Rochester where lots of people end up parking on the streets. The other main problem is the school buses. They are so small and uncomfortable, especially when traveling from one of the high schools that isn't just down the street. The fact that they have no air conditioning just makes it worse, but that's not my main problem with them. I'm 6'4 and cramming myself into a school bus really sucks.
  6. It's actually very widespread and we are still pretty lucky with our injuries when you compare it to the other teams and the extent of the injuries.
  7. That's a good point, Lori. I added the extra points so I can take specific items from my long report and highlight the players or plays that interested me the most.
  8. He's a very good linebacker and I hate to see him go, but I see him as the odd man out as they will be using a lot of money to keep Lee Evans and extend Jason Peters.
  9. The injury is the only reason why i wouldn't throw a ton of money at him until he comes to camp. Who knows if he's 100% yet and in great physical condition?
  10. Thank you for your kind words. I used to just do the play by play. But added the Extra points a couple years ago and everyone enjoyed it, so I keep doing it.
  11. I did too. I really think that if Marcus Stroud comes in and helps draw the double teams, it will make both Schobel and Kelsay a lot better and give them more chances to get to the QB.
  12. Kelsay is never going to be a great DE, but he's a good DE and very solid. I look for him to break his old sack record and get 8-10 sacks for the season. Stroud is going to make the whole line better and I'm already noticing a difference.
  13. Oh sh--, I knew I was missing something in my report. Both Angelo Crowell and Aaron Schobel were held out of practice. Schobel had a death in the family and was not there. He was replaced by Ryan Denney. Crowell was held out practice with a hurt knee. He missed the Tuesday practice too. Also, Steve Johnson had his knee wrapped and missed practice.
  14. Greer always pwns at camp, and honestly I think he's very underrated. I hope he keeps his job, because he's done nothing for it to be taken away.
  15. No, but you like to see our OTs hold their own at least for a little bit. Chambers wasn't doing that. He was getting pushed right towards the QB or the DE was going right around him.
  16. Oh and as always, any feedback and/or comments are welcome.
  17. agreed. And that's why he has already been moved. For the record, Langston Walker did a decent job at LT.
  18. Sorry, but I have seen enough of Chambers in 3 practices. I want Peters back badly!
  19. Oh and if you want to check out all my photos, just go here to my gallery and the photos are right there, you can click on the photos to see a bigger image. http://www.billszone.com/gallery2/v/2008_B...g_camp/7-30-08/
  20. Here we go. It's now Day 6 of the Buffalo Bills Training Camp. It's the day after the first night practice, so the team had an afternoon practice today and a morning walk-thru. The players worked out in full pads for the third day in a row and there was a some nice hits. They worked on a few special teams drills, including punt returns, blocking and field goals. The team also worked on the individual drills with their own units, 7-on-7 and the 11-on-11 full team drill, as well as some work in the red zone. Just like last week, the players started out by working with their individual units. Then they worked on some special teams drills. Bobby April had the team practice covering and returning punts. The punt returners would receive a "punt" from the jugs machine and the drill was basically just to help the gunners out. Roscoe Parrish, Leodis McKelvin, and Fred Jackson were the return men. The drill was mainly for the gunners benefit and the punt returns did not go full strength. But there were a couple nice plays by each returner. Roscoe showed off his speed and ability as he ran down the field on a couple returns. McKelvin impressed me when he made a nice cut that avoided his gunners. He later felt a gunner coming his way on another punt return and ducked, the gunner flew right over him. The crowd the cheered for it. Fred Jackson showed some good return ability too as he dodged the gunners. The special teams practiced for about 10 minutes and then the team went to work on some 7-on-7 passing drills. Trent Edwards started it out with a 16-yard pass to Lee Evans. He then connected with Josh Reed for 14-yards and 7-yards. Edwards finished the series off with a 5-yard pass to Derek Fine. JP Losman came in and looked like his old self, the one that holds onto the ball way too long. He stood in the pocket on the first play and after many seconds, he finally dumped it off to Fred Jackson for 2-yards. On the next play, JP Losman appeared to have happy feet and wanted to run with it, but would have been sacked. He did finally get it out quicker on the next play as he hit Courtney Anderson for 8-yards. JP finished the series off with another "sack" as he didn't get the ball out fast enough. Trent Edwards came back in and zipped it right out to Robert Royal for 6-yards. He then hit Lee Evans for 5-yards. Edwards finished the series off with two passes to Josh Reed for 9 and 6 yards. Gibran Hamdan came in and threw the ball right to Reggie Corner, who almost made the interception, but he dropped it. He then threw a 13-yard pass to Derek Fine, who impressed the crowd with a nice catch................ CLICK HERE for the rest of the article....
  21. I'll be there Thursday night.
  22. I can't stand the new design of the D&C site. It's so hard to navigate.
  23. I've noticed the same thing. Each year, there are less free samples inside the tent. Also, there is no Buffalo Jills this year. No sweet Buffalo Bills posters from Xerox. Also, they changed the program to a crappy newspaper. Oh and them getting rid of the Nazareth parking lot was a dumb idea too.
  24. Good post and it's what I'm seeing too. Sure Trent dumps it off quickly, but he still gets rid of the ball and tries to keep moving the chains. I also forsee the long ball mixed in his passing game several times throughout the season.
