  1. I know it is, but I used google . A player I know little about and have never seen play.
  2. You really are related to scooby
  3. Shephard is one who I really hope works out. I love his on the field enthusiam. Could really push this team harder.
  4. I won't pencil merriman in there until the guy sees the field. I wouldn't bank on him at all, and if the bills think OLB is safe just because of merriman, then they are taking a pretty stupid risk. And moats probably won't start, and will only be brought in on obvious passing situations. That is kelseys starting job, unfortunatly. And lord knows if maybin will still be on the roster. They were saying OLB was in better shape than ILB, but I think they both sucked. Just because we have kelsey and merriman at OLB, it doesn't make it better than poz and davis and ILB. And I like jasper a lot, but no way he starts this year. Hell, he probably won't even play this year. But I do like him a lot as a prospect.
  5. There is no trade down scenario that would have given us Ryan Kerrigan, Cameron Jordan, Lance Kendricks, and the other players he wanted (dareus). Don't be silly.
  6. I would never complain about my job on a public site. Even if my boss gave me the worst day ever. Complaining about my employer for all the world to see would only make things worse. If you are the type to B word about your employer all over twitter, then god help you if you have a bad day, because you will probably get the pink slip.
  7. How do you get compensation for a guy who is not under contract?
  8. An average LT in round 7 is still pretty good. And a 7th round WR having a 10 TD season looks pretty damn good too. If our 7th round is just as good this year, we might actually have a team soon.
  9. It will bother me a little bit if Newton totally sucks. If he actually turns into a franchise QB, then that would certainly make me feel better about this front office. Although I liked newtons upside, I thought there was too much risk in taking him with our 1st pick.
  10. agreed. people got so mad when we passed on clausen in the 2nd round last year.... and look how that turned out for carolina. If we took clausen, we would probably have taken newton this year.
  11. Well, if players were picked based on what the fans wanted, teams would be pretty bad. We might make it a little better on first rounders, but we probably wouldn't have drafted players like stevie johnson, kyle williams, or arthur moats. Just because fans don't like it doesn't mean it won't work out. There is nothing wrong with a rotational guy as long as he contributes enough. Most of the Dline is rotational on most teams anyway. Or stop a Runningback. and we can't do either
  12. I would gladly take Dareus or miller, but would definently prefer Dareus.
  13. You are wrong. Miller's talents make him a pass rushing threat. A 4-3 OLB is not big in rushing the passer as much as a 3-4 OLB is. He is much better suited for a 3-4 OLB. Maybe if he could help in run support, then maybe 4-3, but he can't stop the run to save his life. The guy is a true 3-4 OLB.
  14. NFLdraftcountdown is a pretty interesting site. This guy seems to know his stuff more than the rest when grading players. He had us taking Von Miller before everyone else had him in their top ten.
  15. I think if they grab a QB, they are going to grab one in rounds 2 or 3.
  16. I personally trust Gaily more than nix, despite the whole making edwards a starter. But in gaily's defense, Edwards always one of those sneaky QBs. Looked good in practice, looked bad in games.
  17. It is one thing to disagree with a thread. It is another to bring up things that have nothing to do with the topic at hand. This topic has just about as much to do about the lockout as it does with the draft, which is like, nothing. You are hating on players for greed, when none of the players that are being talked about right now have made any statements that reaked of greediness. In fact, most of them are making league minimum, which is still a nice sum of money, but they aren't "millionaires" like you suggest. And where do you get this thing where "they don't show up to work." Work? even if there wasn't a lockout, there are no minicamps, practices, or real meetings of any kind this time of year, at all. So even without a lockout, they would still be in their own homes away from buffalo. So this whole thing you are arguing over is just ridiculous. They don't have to workout right now, lockout or no lockout. This time last year, there were no offical team workouts just like this year. Really, it is like this is the first offseason for some of you.
  18. Not discounting his potential... but picking a one year wonder at 3rd overall seems a little too risky. With the bad luck we have with our first rounders, I would like to take a player that is at least a little more of a safer pick. haha. oh my.
  19. I can't see jordan lasting through pick 11. He is too solid of a player.
  20. Don't be such a buzzkill. No one is saying it is good to see a lockout, people's greed fighting over money, or seeing big business exploit the masses. People are saying that it is good to see players on the bills working together in the offseason. It is good to see team work, unity, and to see a little effort that could translate well when the season starts. This thread isn't about the mess with the lockout. There are other threads for that. You are some bills PHAN for coming in here and hating on these players who haven't don't anything to you. If you hate them so much, then you probably should just change teams, or change sports since it seems like you hate football all together. It isn't like Fitz, steve johnosn, and all our guys are the ones that are even doing any negotiating. They are just following the lead of their "nonunion." What do you want them to do? Divide the players? That will just make things worse. If the players are divided and can't decide what they want, then they cant even negotiate. Yeah, lets hate on Fitz and these guys because they are working out together during a lockout
  21. Almost no one here is going to agree with me, but I think Locker would be really great for us if he fell to us in round 2 and we grabbed him there. He seems to have everything a franchise QB needs..... except that accuracy is pretty damn scary. He looked better in his junior year, so you could argue the talent around him fell apart his senior year with people leaving and such. Also, his accuracy was much better outside the pocket, which means with a better line, he probably would have had better accuracy inside the pocket. Now, our line isn't that good..... but we can improve it. I still think he has a lot of upside, but there are too many ifs and maybes to really give him a first round status. But I think using a second rounder on him wouldn't be the worst thing to do. Though with all the defensive talent, using our top two picks on defensive still seems to be the best and safest choice.
  22. Just because the players want binding mediation, doesn't mean this is binding mediation. There is no credible news outlet in the world that has said that the mediation that starts on thursday is going to be binding or not.
  23. Of course, it takes someone from Buffalo to push things forward. This is getting ridiculous. I hope this doesn't go all the way through august, or even into the season. It shouldn't be THAT hard to work out a deal. The biggest enemy is that the two sides really don't trust eachother, at all.
  24. still would prefer jordan or miller, by a lot. I wanted get pissed if they drafted a QB at 3, but I might say a prayer or two and hope that it is the right move. But I think jordan and miller can each really bring a lot to the team, and fairly quickly.
  25. really wish dareus would fall to us, but I don't see it happening. I am actually more interested in who we draft in round 2. And if we somehow trade down, damn that would be just amazing. I don't mind the miller pick, and it looks like that will be the pick. I just hope we do well with our other picks. It is a shame we are picking at the top in a year where the best player is a DB.
