This is a good view of how I feel. I would just like to add, He wasn't the best or the worst, but he was the best one that stayed healthy all season. Staying healthy and playing decent doesn't sound valuable, but on this team with the injuries they have, it is very important to this team. I thouht he would have been a good backup

Pretty much how I feel. I knew either him or mckelvin would get cut. I thought it would happen in camp, and it would be mckelvin. I am not saying the bills are wrong, but I would have waited until camp to make sure mgee doesn't injure himself. My guess is they need the roster spot for another player to bring in if they did it that early

It is going to be really interesting to see how the secondary plays out as far as who stays and who goes. I am thinking mckelvin might be the odd man out and will get cut. Then whenever mcgee gets injured, that will probably be the end of him. Not sure what they do about Florence, but I am sure they keep him. He was the best corner they had that did not get injured, and with our injury bug, he will be needed, even if he is just a backup. But the 3 young guys we have look promising. Though we need to see more.

I don't think it is that big of a knock on us. If the game were in buffalo, and we were 6 point dogs, then I would say that is a bit of a slap in the face. but with home field advantage playing a big part in odds, I am not surprised.

kafka is the real person that beat out Young, not edwards. With that said, I don't know how much an improvement Young would be over what we have, and I personally don't care if they sign him or not. If he is an improvment, i don't think it is that much. But I absolutly love that they are bringing people in. It is really sending a message out there to the lockerroom, the fans, the league, everyone, that this team is going to get better every chance they get. I even think that if they don't make an offer to young after working him out, it will send another message that we aren't desperate, and won't settle for just anyone, with will attract better players as well.

I am really surprised. Last offseason he seemed a little upset about carries. It wasn't a huge deal, but I wasn't expecting him to be so awesome about the contract thing. I just hope it works out. I would hate for the bills to lowball him and for him to get upset. That would throw all the good stuff into turmoil. We had such a good offseason by re-signing our guys, signing big free agents, and drafting well, it would suck to give all that a black eye

I think when looking at how much better the teams in the afc got, you have to look at the whole offseason. this is a quick, vague overview: Pats* biggest needs: pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. also saftey, linebacker, and oline with light retiring. Key additions: Brandon lloyd, Gonzalez, hightower, chandler jones. key losses: light, anderson, carter (?) Bills: biggest needs going into the offseason: pass rush pass rush pass rush, LT, depth, CB, WR. Key additions: Gilmore, Mario, anderson, glenn Key losses: Bell when you look at the offseason as a whiole, all afc east teams needed pass rush, and bad. it is obvious the bills pass rush improved way more than the others. Jones might turn out to be a good player for the pats*, but they also lost a 10 sack player from last year (to us) as well. I think looking at the whole offeason, the bills improved more than their rivals. Sure, it might not be enough improvment to make us the best, and it has to be proven on the field. But I say if we had a top ten QB (Brees, Eli, Rivers) we would be division favorites. We can still win and do well with fitz, but if we did have a top ten QB, it would be hard not to have super bowl expectation for this team, imo.
