  1. this cant be the same as evicting a wife. husband/wife normally have joint assets. she was just his girlfriend, she doesnt have any ownership for the home unless her name is on the deed.
  2. marcus vick..... not a great name to be mentioned with.
  3. for me i would need to at least need to hear from the victim, police, any legitimate news source before i condemn anyone. Having a 3rd party make a social media post without any hard evidence doesn't convince me. I would need to hear the victim's side. This social media post is done by some anonymous person and so far none of it can be substantiated. It would be like a random user hear making baseless claims.
  4. I agree. It seems like the WR draft picks were at best lateral moves compared to what we already had on the roster. And personally I liked what we had on the roster more than the draft picks, which speaks volumes because what we had is pretty bottom of the barrel already. After Benjamin and Kerley, the talent level is pretty even or at least very close. I hope a decent receiver (not named dez) gets cut in training camp that we can pick up and serve at least as an upgrade over the stuff we have
  5. I agree about this board being toxic. I would say 80% complaining, 19% blinded hope, and 1% quality. It wasn't always like this. There was more balance with quality posters. About 2010 I would say a lot of the good posters got annoyed with how loud the toxic posters were and left. We have lost too many good posters that now this board really has dropped.
  6. If the next set of rennovations will be 600 million + might as well get a new stadium instead. I dont think this is something that needs to be done right away. And for a new stadium I dont see why it cant be more like a hienz field type stadium (more affordable) and has to be like these super fancy ones
  7. If you factor in that Hurst might not be medically cleared to play football, then yes
  8. If you factor in that Hurst might not be able to medically play football, then yes
  9. I think darnold will be a franchise guy, but not elite. I'm thinking he will have an Alex Smith/ Andy Dalton type of career. I think Rosen could be a top 5 qb type, if he can stay healthy.
  10. I agree. Once we get a franchise QB every draft will get easier. When you don't have a QB then you always have to consider taking a QB rather than taking BPA. And a franchise QB will stablize the coaching staff and front office giving them more time to build their team. Once you have a QB you can just take BPA each year in the draft. If we didn't need a QB we would be getting some serious talent with all the picks we have. but because we really need one, we might be giving up a lot to get one. sooner the better though
  11. Im not hating on Beane, but so far he hasn't done much to inspire confidence. He has done ok stockpiling picks and putting us in a good draft position. But he hasn't shown that he can bring in talent. most of the players he brought in have done very little. His best acquisition was probably getting Kelvin Benjamin for a 3rd rounder, and he didn't really have a great season for us and played injured. So far his highlights are -trading away Sammy for a 2nd rounder and Gaines who was injured most of the time (no longer on the team) -trading away Darby for a 3rd rounder and Matthews (injured and no longer on the team) -Trading Darius for peanuts -Trading a 3rd rounder for Kelvin Benjamin (injured most of the time) -trading tyrod for a high 3rd rounder, this looks like a good trade for us -signing murphey- another player with an injury, we will see how this plays out -Signing Star- looks like a solid pick up with a fair contract, we will see how he plays this year for us So far, he looks like he has been good at getting us draft capital. I love sean as our coach, but I am very skeptical of Bean as our Gm right now. he needs more time to prove himself, he hasn't even had a draft yet. But I personally feel he takes too many fliers on players with injury history, more talent has left than comes in, and I fear all this work getting draft picks is going to be sucked into him picking the wrong QB. I need to see how he drafts and how the draft class performs. but I am skeptical for the moment
  12. The goal is not to get a "top prospect". The goal is to get a successful NFL qb. The idea that you need a top prospect to get a franchise qb is ridiculous
  13. With all the franchise QBs that are starting right now that were picked outside the top ten, saying we need to suffer is ridiculous. We missed on many franchise QBs in the past 5 years, and if we keep that thinking that we need to pick in the top 3 to draft franchise QBs, then we will miss on plenty more franchise QBs to come
  14. Oh yeah, signing poyer and Hyde really set this team back
  15. Just wanted to share this Reddit post from yesterday. A bills fan from India made a meme featuring Peterman. There is something glorious about it. But the best part is his comments responding to people. He has been a fan for about a year. He wishes he was a fan of another team now (because he didn't realize how bad the team was) but he isn't going back on his decision and is sticking with them. It is wonderful and made my day
  16. A little more detail as to how it got bills related is this. It has become common in bills Facebook groups for someone to bootleg stream the games live. There was a game this season where the commerical was shown, and some fans repeated the "dilly dilly" while the game was going on. Coincidentally whenever someone said "Dilly dilly" something good happened for the bills right after. So now on all the social media posts people are just posting "Dilly dilly" over and over on anything that is"good news" So it is basically becoming a superstition
  17. i was mostly blaming the talent, but this has convinced me that it is the design of the offense.... which is a really bad problem. going to be a long season and im sure we will waste our draft picks we have been collecting
  18. just being in that division is tough. Though i have a feeling denver isn't going to be "good" this year
  19. Well, disappointed how things are looking so far. Best thing it that it has tempered my expectations so I don't get my hopes up that this is going to be a winning season. We can talk about scheme and best fits, but it seems their talent evaluations are based all on money and personality. Everything else, including talent, takes a back seat.
  20. I like discipline for our players, but before I crucify Dareus I would like to know what rule he broke.. We have an HC that we don't know what his policies are. This very well could have been something really minor and pointless, or it could be something serious. Either way, I am not worried about it. It isn't like he is suspended. And I don't have high hopes for this season anyway
  21. I think that the statement itself isn't an issue. But I think that his approach makes him more polorizing than the coaches that you listed. Belichick is a no fuss, high demanding coach, but he is clearly a good teacher, good communicator, and and makes adjustments based on his players. Marron on the other hand has his scheme and forces players to fit a scheme they don't fit. Just because the player doesn't fit the scheme doesn't mean they are not talented or aren't working hard. I think marrone is not like the coaches you listed with the exception of being strict with accountability, and a coach needs to be more than that
  22. i think it would be perfect for him. He can be a talent evaluator but not make the final decisions (Reid would obviously do that) so it would play to his strengths
