  1. Besides chandler, he has the most reliable hands to catch the ball on our roster. If we draft or sign someone, Martin is the one they cut first of course, and possibly brad smith
  2. I dunno. Usually when we bash espn, it isn't so much of them giving us credit. They give us a lot of credit. We usually bash espn because they talk more about bounties, Tebow, manning, and other stuff than they do about the bills. And bringing up espn talking about the bills and interviewing cj doesn't really do anything to the discussion on what the stats mean, and how they can be misleading, and they can also show promise. Espn mentioning the Jim brown record, and throwing in how many yards cj ran, and asking him who the best rb in the afc east is just didn't fit. I guess I see what you are saying, that people bash espn, and here they are giving us coverage. Just seed random in this thread I guess. Go bills!
  3. Lol, fitzgerald. It is just like reading si.com or some other website that gets the names of our players wrong
  4. Just because espn says something positive, it doesn't count toward any stats. It is just them stating the obvious. In all honesty, what they say doesn't count for anything really with the discussion at hand.
  5. As bad as Fitz is, I think he is the best qb we have had since bledsoe. Now that isnt saying much, but I think that is the reason why so many fans cling to him. I say the bills really need to spend at least a third rounder on a qb and see what happens. I know qbs taken outside round one tend not to do well, but it can't be that hard to find a qb that is at least 10% better than Fitz. Even a small improvement at qb will make a difference
  6. We do not have the worst wide receivers at all. Just off the top of my head, the phins, browns, rams, and probably the jests have worse receivers than us. But I to believe we need an upgrade at wr and qb
  7. cordy glenn definently makes this a top ten line imo. I need to see more football this year to really judge it though. not just the bills, but other teams as well. In the first 2 weeks I have seen probably only 6 games, and two of those were bills games of course.
  8. I don't know, none of that is that surprising. pats* had oline trouble in the preseason, rodgers has gone up against very good defenses, peyton has been out of the nfl forever, brees is missing his HC and has team that has gotten more negative press than any team has gotten in awhile.... stafford is a bit surprising. usually his only problem is staying healthy, and there is defiently something else wrong with him this year.
  9. haha, this has to be my favorite. I haven't really seeing much of the pats* this year, but I am assuming their oline has a lot to do with that.... they are stacked at receiver/tight end, and have an elite QB.
  10. Bills are also the only team that is 100% in the redzone.in completing TDs. Team still has me worried in a lot of areas.... even though fitz didn't throw an INT in the last game, I am not convinced yet that his intereception problem is cured yet. Cleveland should be a good test. It would be a better test if their star CB was playing, but I think he is suspended for this game? Eiether way, I would rather have a W than test fitz. We can test him more with the 49ers D. And the pats* offense should be a good test for our defense. We should have a really good idea where this team is after week 5. If the 49ers D doesn't completly tear us apart, I would be surprised.they are destroying teams right now.
  11. So you don't think that if the games are meaningful in December, they will sell out? I'm not sure what you disagree with what he was saying....
  12. Schobol did get sacks and racked up those stats. But Mario was way more effective today than schobol ever was. This team should win games, screw the stats.
  13. It's not an excuse, it is pretty much a fact. If the games are meaningful, they will sell out. There are a ton of reasons why the December game are not sold out right now. And even if they were selling out right now, I don't think that would impact our Toronto situation at this point anyway.
  14. I don't mind that as long as they put in a back up plan that is better than tavaris and thigpen in case Fitz gets injured or has a bad enough losing streak to where it is time to pull the plug. I still feel he is a stop gap player more than a franchise guy, especially after last week
  15. Except for the year we drafted Edwards. Worst qb class ever. Kolb is probably the best qb taken that year, Edwards is second, Quinn is third, and Russell is so last
  16. I don't know... I pick the bills to win, but not with much confidence.
  17. He passes too much now, but before he got here, he ran the ball too much in Pittsburgh. I'm surprised he passes as much as he does
  18. 27 this month. So yeah, vaguely remember the glory days. But still been a loyal fan despite all the heartache
