  1. Yeah. That is why Kaufman was expendable. He wasnt "big" enough to play ST like the others were. People wer. Speculating that he would be good for PS so the bills could train him up and add more wweight to him
  2. If we go into the new England game with only those two positions as holes, we are already better than last year. If our defensive line plays well, that should mask the bad secondary play to some degree.
  3. Seems that way. The only mention of it on NFL.com is from 5 hours ago, and it was a rehash of Manuel throwing the ball on Thursday and that there is no timetable for a return yet. With that said, I still say it is more likely EJ will start.
  4. Probably not a lot more, but he probably could have signed for more somewhere else. Going to a winning team for the same or more money would seem appealing, but glad he decided to stay.
  5. Thanks. I can see why it makes sense not to use it on Gilmore
  6. How does the short term IR work again? Does the player have to go on IR before the season starts or can it be anytime during the season?
  7. Should be working on Byrd, but that might be a lost cost at this point.
  8. Ravens cut marc Anthony, 7th rounder from this years draft. He isnt very big, but he can't be worse than what we already have. I haven't seen him play either, but only half the teams have made cuts so far
  9. Says EJ might be healthy and they don't want to carry 4 qbs
  10. There should be some cbs available soon that are better than this Mickey mouse talent. At minimum, all they really need is a stop gap vet player for the first 6 games until Gilmore comes back.
  11. No, but that list doesn't get any better if you add Edwards to it. There will be better garbage players available soon
  12. In that case, I would take brooks. He looked decent last year for a rookie that missed half the season. Made rookie mistakes, but Def looked like he had the talent. Just needs development
  13. That is one play though. I am not saying he should be starting. Most people are having him as a 6th wr, which is a good fit for us. Not as a starter, but depth/reserve guy
  14. I feel better with rogers. Brooks doesn't really count, because he is playing nickel which is a completey different position. Heath will be cut soon, I'm sure.
  15. I think a couple of these will happen. I fear that we are going to get killed by penalties and when we look back, we will say the game could have been so much closer if we didn't have those penalties. Besides the injuries, the penalty problems are my next concern
  16. I think Hogan makes the roster. He is fairly reliable and would be good depth. With Hogan and Easley playing well, I can't justify them keeping smith.
  17. I can't see them keeping brad smith. If his injury will keep him out for a few weeks, it will make even less sense to keep him. We already have Gilmore and Kolb that are injured and count against the roster, and possibly EJ and byrd. And somepoint, you can't have that many players that are injured counting against the roster. Someone has to go to IR eventually. I am not even sure if PUP is even an option at this point.
  18. The worst injuries were to EJ and Gilmore, because they were the most valuable talentwise that got injured. The Kolb thing is another one that sucked. But these other injuries are not hard to replace. Though I feel bad for the injured players. Sucks to have it happen
  19. Gimore is important, this isn't the difference as to why the performance was night and day. You can't blame Gilmore for the offense going 3 and out so quickly
